Considering how these writers treat our team they should be fined for
not covering the Isles with some respect all season and it was the
right move to keep them away.
It's almost as bad as the Devils now. Every time the Devils lose the
collapse is on, every time they win they cannot keep it up. No one is
happy, everyone cannot wait to leave. There are no fans at the games
and they are the most boring team in the NHL with that trap.
Yea, right. Never a kind word about how they really play. I'm not a
Devils fan but winning hockey deserves some respect from
the media and this is one good team, worthy of that respect.
This 3/4 glass empty coverage is just not fair. The Rangers only wish
they could trap as well and they sure do try when they get any lead
in a game now.
Devils are treated like crap and the Isles coverage has almost
regressed to that point.
When the Devils won the cup, it's nothing but everyone's leaving and
cheap-shots about the parade attendance with Rangers comparisons.
I'm glad the Isles kept the writers away, it was worth it.
When clowns like Jay Greenberg, write that our win against Chicago
does not count and takes it out of our record to make his point the
Isles are not playing well, it's not professional on his part, IMHO.
Larry Brooks is coming to Isles practice ? I'll bet anything he used
his powers as Hockey Writers Association President to get the Isles
fined. He likely had the NHL equipment following Snow around too for
Isles should shut the door and lock these writers out because they
will never get a fair shake from guys like Brooks. If there is
nothing he will invent something, like all that dissention within the
Isles and Oilers last November, even Newsday and the Edmonton Journal
writers laughed off the article as false.
Meanwhile Brooks can spin comebacks against Atlanta and the Isles
into something special, it's as phoney as his work.
Let them sit outside the rest of the season.
