I think the preponderance is Drumcose and there is no connection to Drumhose. There are two Drumcose town lands but you have the info identifying the correct one.

Ok, my problem is that my ancestor Charles Crozier,is recorded in St Mary's Ardess, Magherculmoney CoI baptism record (son Charles) in 1783 as being from the Drumhose & again in the proni freeholders lists which is 1788. Later his granddaughter Jane who is also baptised & then married from this church is listed at being from Drumhose in 1817 & then Drumcose in 1843. Most of the many Crozier church records use Drumhose.
The Griffiths Valuation from has Charles' son James and his sons James & John listed at Drumcose, Magherculmoney. I cant find any record of my Crozier ancestors in the other Parish Galloon Drumhose. And in 1901 census Croziers who decend from Charles
still live at Drumcose. Oh and there is a will for a James Crozier who died in 1899 with the place name of Drumchose.
Can I assume it is a case of fluid spelling?
In the scheme of genealogy I am nit-picking aren't I?
