These dashpoints were always going to be the second lot reported as Madam Dash had her monthly French conversation group and I could either leave early and take the first points of the month, or wait and enable MD to score her points as well. No contest, we left on the journey at 3.30pm, 30 minutes before GeoffJ lodged the first report for March.

We reached this one by travelling east from home, along Heatherton Road (crossing the new bridge across the future EastLink Tollway), then north along Stud Road until we reached the Shire of Yarra Ranges. Croydon and Mooroolbark were nearby, and this was our usual route to Healesville. When we reached Kilsyth we turned left off Durham Road along Beatrice Street, then right into Birkenhead Drive. We took the Colebrook Road route and the end of this No Through Road had us at 91.2 metres. We walked through the opening in the gate into the grounds of the Pembroke Secondary School and stood on zero on the basketball court opposite a mural showing a beach scene on the wall of the changing rooms. To our south there was a large oval with an all-weather synthetic cricket pitch installed. It looked like a very good school, and I am sure that the sporting facilities are well used.
GD81-YLIN reached 1820hrs 01/03/2008 in Yallambie, Victoria
A relatively short distance as the crow flies from YLON, this dashpoint took an hour and a half to reach because of traffic and a short coffee stop. We eventually reached Lower Plenty Road and turned left into Arthur Streeton Drive, then immediately right into Gallery Gate. The dashpoint was located in Conder Road, first right along Gallery Gate. The GPSr read 1.12 metres in the car outside number 45 Conder Road. Close enough, photos were taken from the end of the street so that the neighbours would not be alarmed, even if they were alert to our slow progress along their quiet suburban street.
That's 6 March points for GeoTerriers, and 6 points for Dashing Dog Mac, thanks Scout.
