I can only suggest the suppliers in the UK that I use. Buck and Hickman, Monks and Crane, Cromwell Tools. Manufacturers can be approached directly (Presto, SKF etc.) but that is a very expensive way to get one or two taps.-Andrew UK----- Original Message -----From: jeff bertoletSent: Saturday, January 19, 2013 5:19 PMSubject: [Geared_hub_bikes] Re: axle thread pitch on Shimano
Does anyone happen to know the thread diameter pitch on the nexus inter-3 cones. It's a little larger than the axle nuts, but appears to be the same pitch. Perhaps 7/16x26tpi? I thought I read somewhere that it was M12, but that doesn't match the measurement I took (~11mm x ~1mm).
