I just wondered if Seregil is toothless. I mean he, as Thero for that
matter, is something around sixty and I don't know how it's
America but here in Europe people usually have bridges or even
dentures at that age.
Please tell me if I'm wrong, but I never read something about
dentists and dental care in either of the tree books. But if there is
nothing like dental care Seregil or anyone else who's older then
must have totally rotten teeth. Imagine what an unpleasant sight it
would be if Seregil was yawning, laughing, singing or anything else
that makes him show his teeth?
<Yummy, yummy >
But on the other hand there may be something like dentistry but Lynn
just didn't mention it.
Ok, here are some possible scenes
Alec asked Seregil what to do this afternoon and he replied:
Alec, no night running toady we have an appointment at the
Alec: "Oh, I'm so exhausted. Can I go to sleep or will somebody
me here at the party?"
Seregil: "Don't think so. But please remember to brush your
before you go to sleep!"
Alec: "Can't I just skip that?"
Seregil: " No, unless you want as rotten teeth as I have?"
Both Seregil and Alec are lying in the bed, when suddenly Seregil
heard a voice outside:
"Halhf ye hhheaard lllthat? Lhtere lhhdas thomeboy outthide"
"What did you say? Oh please never talk to me without you false
teeth. I can't understand a word and you know that!"
Having attached his dentures Seregil replied
"Oh I hate those things. Even after 5 years they still taste like
bones. Why do they use bones for those things. Anyway, didn't you
hear that noise outside?"
It even could have caused serious problems with Alec's and
4. Alec and Seregil are sneaking somewhere around.
Alec: "Can you smell that?"
Seregil: "No! I don't smell anything"
Alec: "But there is something! It somehow smells rotten."
Seregil: "Oh that, that are my teeth"
Alec: "Can't you do anything about it? It's disgusting!
I'm glad that
I never have to kiss you!"
Seregil: " Hey. Don't be unfair. I tried everything. But
nor anything else worked!"
PS: What do you make of it?
