From the Bob Bedford clipping file, several entries to get caught up:
July 17, 1894 - The bonds of the Cayadutta Electric RR have until
recently been held by individuals in Fulton County, but a few days
since they were bought up by New York parties at par and accrued
July 23, 1894 - Unless the farmers in this vicinity are more
reasonable in regards to the price of their land, the new railroad to
Johnstown and Gloversville will be built by way of Perth!
July 28, 1894 - THE AJ&G SURVEY - The survey of the AJ&G RR is now
completed for a distance of about three miles from Akin. Engineer
Moak is now assisted by an engineer from Gloversville and the survey
party is making rapid progress.
July 30, 1894 - The survey of the AJ&G RR is progressing rapidly, ten
engineers being employed. One line has been surveyed nearly to this
village, and it is expected to reach town in a day or two.
