Having done some Tudor, you might try some of the more continental fashions from the same time. I'm most familiar with 1500's German/central European garb and there are a lot of similarities between those fashions and Tudor; but French, Spanish, and Italian fashions all have their own similarities and differences that could be fun to contrast with Tudor fashions... Err, well, at least I think that kind of thing could be fun.
