June 9th, 2012 is the date of the The Mannings' 44th Annual Spinning
Seminar. It runs from 10 AM to 4PM. The Mannings Spinning Seminar is held at The Mannings, 1132 Green Ridge Road, East Berlin, PA 17316 on the second Saturday in June every year, rain or shine. There is no admission charge and no registration is necessary.

The store will be open (and the lines LONG), and there will be
spinners EVERYWHERE, especially if the weather is good. You can bring
your spinning wheel and a chair and hang out and chat with other
spinners. There is lots of lawn space to spread out, though perhaps
not as much shade as you might wish. A local church sells food for
lunch, but of course you can bring your own food too. I've only been
there once before, on a gorgeous day, so I have NO idea how this works
out if it is rainy.
Those of you in the SCA, might recognize the name Nancy Spies.
