Ferment varies according to many factors. If it bubbles fairly strong for 2 or 3 days then slacks off your OK. Recipe looks OK. Use 2Lb of malt next time . !.5 to 2 quarts of water is recomended per Lb of grain. Did you let the grain mash at 150F For an hour or so ? Dont be too worried about ferment speed . You should be enjoying your home made drink soon . LATER

But now I am doing my 1st all corn mash as follows:
9 lbs of flaked corn
1.5 lbs of malt
2 tsp gypsun
5.2 ph adjuster
23l tap water
23g Prestige WD Yeast
Before pitching the yeast OG of 1.032. The recipe I am using states the
after adding the yeast you should see "vigorous fermentation" its not
vigorous but a slow churn.
So is this ok or should I be concerned. Thanks for any input.
