It feels very strange to have my own group, and I'm humbled by the
fact that so many of you signed up for it; thank you, all of you, for
your interest in my work!
A few things...
I have been innundated lately by commission requests, and at present,
have about ten horses here belonging to customers. Until I whittle
down this backlog, I'll be temporarily closing my books. Normally, my
turnaround time is 3-4 months, but at present, the wait will likely be
longer, due to not only the increased backlog, but the fact that my
husband recently lost his job, my little daughter is subsequently down
to the barest minimum of pre-K hours, and I'm not getting as much
painting time in as I had when both hubby and daughter were out of the
house <g>. I really appreciate your patience as I try to adjust my
painting time to accomodate "being invaded."
In-between commissions, I'm also painting the very exclusive resin,
"Lirico" (sculpted by Sarah Minkiewcz-Bruenig)in a lightly dappled
mulberry rose grey. He will be offered for sale here, first. Other
"for sale" pieces further down the road include some mini Nahars that
I currently have in-hand, a LJJ "Miss Kitty" to be done in an
appaloosa or pinto pattern of some sort, and a Breyer Suscesion and
LeFire in Arab colors (probably dapple grey on the mare).
I would also like to invite those of you who own pieces painted by me,
to feel free to make use of the Files section of this group to post
photos of them.
Finally, an older piece that I did a few years ago has come up for
sale ... it has since NAN-qualified, and the link to it is here:
Thank you, all, and have a lovely evening!
