SPEAKER and TOPIC:
Carolyn Reynolds: "Down the Rabbit Hole"
Carolyn Reynolds was first introduced to yoga in 1987 by a friend who invited her to attend a class as a guest. The class was taught by Diane Steinberg whose spiritual mentor is Ram Dass. And now Diane remains a constant nurturing spiritual mentor for Carolyn. Two years after that first class Carolyn earned her Kripalu Yoga Teacher's Certificate in July 1989 at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, Massachusetts. The month long training, under the leadership of Yoga Amrit Desai, was one of her most treasured experiences.
Since then Carolyn has earned certificates as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, as a teacher of DansKinetics Spirit in Motion and as a YogaKids facilitator. She is also certified in WholeBirth Prenatal Yoga. Carolyn holds a 500 hour yoga teacher training certificate from Kirpalu Center and recognized by the Yoga Alliance. An ongoing study of the deeper practices of Yoga philosophy continues through the oral teachings of Swami J of the Himalayan Tradition.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
The Center for Non-Dualism is a community for people who share the
Non-Dual perspective of Religion, Yoga, and Philosophy. The purpose
of the Center is to maintain a loving fellowship and to provide a
nurturing environment that is conducive to learning and experiencing
the oneness of Non-Dualism.
Non-Dualism is the orientation that there is one absolute reality
without a second, and that each of us, although an individual person,
is one with that reality, just as a wave is not separate from the
ocean. The emphasis of our Center is on the practices such as
contemplation and meditation which lead to the direct experience of
this Non-Dual reality.
