Hi, Sam - sorry, some letters have gotten put aside.
First thing, of course, is to check for a bladder infection.
Also check the urinary acidity - she may need a boost.
What wet food are you giving her? Cats have problems with
a lot of foods - because of vegetable matter. Usually the
grains, sometimes all vegetables. If you can find it, try
switching her to Wellness - Chicken or Turkey. Also, switch
to using distilled/purified water for her. It can help
keep minerals from solidifying into crystals or stones. If
you can add a little (even a tablespoon or so) to her food,
that can get extra water into her.
Finally - get some good enzyme type cleaner for the area she's
using, saturate it, cover with a towel and then a piece of
heavy plastic. And put a towel or paper towels on that - at
minimum, she's going *on* something. If you've changed litter
at all, check that - she may not like the smell or texture.
Make sure you're keeping the box clean. (believe it or not,
on another list, someone said that the shelter they worked at,
a guy called about the same problem, and it turned out *he*
was using the litter box also). Maybe you need to move the
box to the place she's using - maybe a more private area, or
if it's covered, un-cover it.
But first - check with the vet.
