Western Field Ornithologists 35th Annual Meeting will be held in Palm
Desert, CA on October 13-17.
A key part of the meeting will be the two afternoon sessions devoted
to presentations of papers dealing with western birds (broadly), for
which we are now soliciting abstracts. Presentations are short (15
minutes), are aimed at professional and serious amateur field
ornithologists alike, and allow time for audience members to ask
The deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended until August
5, 2010. Please refer to the meeting's website at

where to send them -- again, by August 5.
