Well yes exactly! But I assume what people by 'Byronic hero' is not someone
like Byron but someone like one of his heroes - Corsair or Giaour (not of
course Juan who is a very different sort of hero). I can't understand the
fascination with this type of 'Byronic hero' either though - Byron did
it brilliantly and there is not that much more to be said.
