The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a study of future visitor
transportation services for the National Mall, surrounding parks and other
area visitor destinations. This study is reviewing services offered to the
public and is assessing visitor transportation needs between monuments,
memorials and parks as well as sites in downtown Washington, D.C. and
The public is invited to attend a public information session held for the
Washington, D.C. Visitor Transportation Study on Friday, December 3rd. This
public information session will present a summary of current study efforts
and the next steps in the planning and decision-making process.
