I started backpacking last year at the beginning of the Summer after School let out when I learned about GeoCaching which is a treasure hunt with GPS.During the weekdays and on weekends I take bike rides rides to the GPS locations of GeoCaching and hiked the rest into the location to the GeoCaching Location. The terrain typically was very bushy which means lots of wooded areas and on occasions it was just easy which means not wooded or bushy. The terrain I backpack varies from easy terrain to hard terrain . I tend to hike near were I live.

I tested the Lowepro X60 Camera case during the Summer and Fall of 2010 in the City of Pataskala,Ohio,USA ,because its where I live and closet place to go backpacking because there is only 2 other places to go backpacking at 1 is 15 miles (24.14 KM) to the west in Reynoldsburg,Ohio,USA which is about an hour's bike ride to go backpacking, the second location is 12 miles (19.31 KM) to the North and East of where I live and the City is Granville,Ohio,USA and is a 1 hour 10 minutes bike ride to go backpacking. So thats why I chose Pataskala,Ohio,USA,,because it's alot closer to ride my bike to go backpacking. The Park's and GeoCaching are located 2- 7 miles (3.21 KM) -(11.26KM) from where I live at in Pataskala,Ohio,USA. I do not not like the weather conditions in the Summer because it was a hot and wet Summer. The lowest Tempature was 68 F (20 C). It rained every other weekend and occasionally rained on the weekdays. Rainfall per week averaged about was about 4" (6 CM ).
The worst part of the weather was there was alot of Severe Weather in the Summer and some in the Fall the lowest Tempature was 68 F (20 C). It rained every other weekend and occasionally rained on the weekdays. Rainfall per week averaged about was about 4" (6 CM ).
The worst part of the weather was there was alot of Severe Weather too so I really only backpacked like 2 months out the summer or a little less. So I took the oppurtunity to ride in the Fall when it was less rainy and less hot. The tempatures in the fall the Temperatures averaged at t was easier to bear with since it was in the lower 70's F (21.11 C) with a little wind at 5-10 MPH (8.05 KM) to (16.09 KM). Rainfall was just trace amounts. I did enjoy the fall till it started geting too cold in November 2010 the tempatures went down to 50 F (10 C). then I stopped backpacking and using the LowePro X60 Camera Case.
I took the first trip with my Lowepro x60 X Camera on June,20th 2010. I waited for the next non rain day to take my second trip. I then rode my bike over to a 27 acre park to go backpacking which was fun but it was a hot day and the tempature was about over to a about 95 F (35 C). I decided on a day when it was scattered showers to take my 3rd bike ride and test out the durabillity during the rain and it was a disaster water leaked in to the bag and ruined my gps tracker so I took out my phone and put it in my pocket so it wouldn't get ruined. I took my 4th bike ride to test out the durabillity of it being ran over by my bike to see its durabillity it passed with flying colors it was ran over with 200 pounds of pressure, but I put a old broken GPS in there to test if it would hold up it faiiled. On my 5th bike ride I went to a smaller park to go backpacking at which was an okay place to hike with the x60 but I could tell the velcro was wearing out and it fell off my hand and it broke my new GPS. because velcro was so worn out. So I continued using it but didnt put my electronics in it. It got colder out so I said its time to be done backpacking since my bicycle sprocket was broke.
The Lowepro x60 Camera Case is an okay product but I wouldnt suggest using it out in the rain. JUst be careful that when the velcro fails make sure you having nothing thats breakable in it.
Things I like:
1. Priced perfect
2. Lots of Pockets.
3. Easy to attach to.
Things I don't Like.
1. Not Durable.
2. Velcro eventually Fails.
3. Not waterproof as they say it is it seeps through hole in zipper even when it's zipped up.
