Dear Jerry, and All:
I feel as if I've fallen off the face of the planet into a vast unknown!
October starts in a few hours, and I've been out of touch with BGT for close
to two months. If life wasn't crazy enough, we've had multiple system
failures on home computers and telephone interfaces. My lap top, chock full
of BGT files and assorted tips, recipes, site addresses, etc., is still down.
I can get to this one in short bursts only, and I know it's about time for
three long term reports to be due for me. To try to address a timely fix,
I've peeked at the files and printed the current Survival Guide (Chapter 5).
I've also copied my 3 field reports, Pac-Flat Grill, Travelmate, and
Birdiepal Outdoor umbrella, that each need a six month follow up. It looks
like the much heralded move to a new and non-Yahoo! site is well in progress.
I see lots of changes and a good bit of gear with unfamiliar names. I'm not
sure I'll be caught up with reading in the foreseeable future, but I'll put
together my reports, hopefully up to the current standards, and post them
within the next several days. I'm sure that if I'm off track, I'll hear from
listers what needs to be revised.
I hope things are going better for the rest of you. I'll be somewhere behind
the pack on the 'Net trail, limping along, but still moving.
