I must be the odd man out: I put the Superfeet Quickfit insoles in
my hiking boots :-}
They worked great from the get-go. No trimming to fit, just removed
the old insole and shoved the new ones in. No apparent excess wear.
No break-in; I hiked for 6 hours the first day on very rough terrain
with no discomfort at all. Only the most modest sensation of
increased volume in the boots.
I'll file a complete field report shortly.
Maybe these things aren't meant to be used in sneakers!
