The height form the goound to the top of the seat is
40.5 inches. This is with the seat in its lowest
position. To the top of the seat stay it is 2-3 inches
less. My understanding is you should be at least 6' 4"
An expert came by to see it today. He loved it, but it
was too big for him. He is 6' 1"
He noted the following:
All original equipment in excellent condition. One
opinion is the bike is a 1983 to 85 version.
Double Butted Cr Moly tubing (Miyata tubing)
Sun Tour Mounttech Derailers
Shimono Cantilever Brakes
Original 700x35c Specialize Expedition
700c Champion Rims (not bent)
3 Water Bottle mounts
68cm Frame (center of pedal to top where seat is
61 cm top tube
Rack Mounts Front Fork
SunTour Superbe Brake Levers
Rubber Brake Hood Cracked
Less than 300 original miles estimated
Decal in Perfect Condition
Some scratches in seat stay paint from moving
Gunmetal Grey color
Wire in frame for generator
Hope this helps
