Ad campaign gives BART cars new look

BART is getting a new look for its new advertising campaign.
Beginning today, several train cars will be "wrapped" in messages that
say, "Take BART to SFO," and "Take BART to OAK," as part of a
marketing campaign urging travelers to ride BART to San Francisco and
In exchange for letting the airports use these "moving messages," BART
will receive $700,000 worth of advertising space at the airports.
"Because of these carefully crafted co-marketing agreements, BART is
getting $700,000 worth of advertising space and it won't cost riders
or taxpayers a dime," said BART board president Carole Ward Allen.
