interpretive videos explaining concepts from engineering to optics,
and also includes two paintings from the Uffizi by students of Leonardo.
I even managed to remember enough about a particular facsimile
manuscript I stumbled upon while there to look it up when I got home:
Paolo Santini's De Machinis not only holds a wealth of information
about machines, it includes a double page spread of a medieval
encampment, plus maps, people in every-day dress deploying the
machines and other manuscripty goodness.
