I was thinking of ordering a partial kit along with the plans to get the dacron fabric and kevlar yarn and other supplies. I suspect that I will have to order a partial kit for one of the 16' designs. I don't think that there will be enough fabric in the Arrow 14 kit to cover an additional 2' of length for my 16' design.
One other observation. I suspect that on the longer boat designs one is likely to get good at making scarf joints for all of the lengthwise members. The commonly available construction lumber usually maxes out at 16'.
I am looking forward to starting this project.
