Thanks so much for sharing the images from your exhibition. I especially enjoyed reading the preface to the exhibition that you wrote, and I enjoyed browsing through the photos you posted. I really wish that things were different and I could have made it out there in person to see it, I know that a few members of the group were able to make it.
I know you put a lot of energy into the exhibition with the little time you had to put it together, I'm sure it was no easy task with all of the logistics involved and I think it was really wonderful that you shared the space with a contemporary African artist.
I hope it was a good experience for you and thanks for sharing it with us!
To those of you who were able...those of you who tried...and those of you who were not able... to visit the February exhibition, "Adaaye Afrique: Roots and Branches of African Art" in Lambertville, NJ in February...
Images are now available from the exhibition on my still-developing (ever!) web-site at www.LeoAfricanus.net
. From the home page you can click on the "Adaaye Afrique" link. Over the coming weeks, I will continue to build images sets, links and text to flesh out the presentation on the exhibition and on the site generally. But for now, please fell free to visit the available pages on the site.
