My god!!! Looks pretty amazing indeed. I'm going there this weekend.
And tomorrow I'll be at the Pierre Bergé auction...
Looking forward to both, but certainly to the Mestdagh expo, most
probably it will be the greatest privat collection I've witnessed
myself...And how daring! Where are the classic, western taste conform
Luba's and Baulé?
I really can't wait...
Good luck with the business Rand!!!!
Ps If time allows there is a small ethnographic museum in Antwerp
also on 40 minutes by train.
Ps 2 The university of Ghent (Pand) also has a ethno collection.
Small but aparently also really worthwhile. Normally closed to the
public but I just contacted them recently and they are willing to
organize a private tour on request (I'm an alumni student there).

away. There was a very nice turnout of people from all over the
world, collectors and dealers from San Francisco to New York and all
over Europe as well as other parts of the world I am sure. I stood
out because I dressed comfortably in shorts, it was like an oven in
the exhibition and everyone told me I had the right idea. I was very
glad and thankful to have been invited to this event.

review of the BRUNEAF show with photos I will take over the next few
days as well as some from Amsterdam and Lille. It has been a great
trip so far, all except my dog has been to the emergency room 2 times
in the US since I left and is very sick, it makes me want to be home
