I'll add something to your "have a nice time", how about "a stitch in time"...
I also have something Yoruba that was collected in the 30's - 40's that I believe to be a dance wand that depicts a man sitting at a sewing machine and there is a child standing in front of it. This is a theme that is also found on several Gelede masks I have seen documented.
It shows the influence of Europeans on the art of the Yoruba in the early part of the 20th
century as well, it's a fascinating piece, photos linked below.
