encourage everyone to do this!
Dear Ms. Martin,
I am so sorry about the service you received at Rock Creek Exxon. I am
stunned at this and have contacted the dealer and am waiting on a
response. As an ExxonMobil representative I do not stand for this kind
of behavior and under no circumstances should you have been treated this
way. Please accept my apology and I know the dealer himself will be
contacting you as soon as he gets this letter.

We want you to be satisfied with all our products, services and
facilities at Exxon stations. On behalf of ExxonMobil, I apologize for
the concern and inconvenience you experienced as a result of this
Independent franchisee retailers operate the majority of Exxon stations
as an individual business enterprise. As such, ExxonMobil has no
involvement in the day to day operation of the station, nor with their
equipment. Nevertheless, ExxonMobil makes every effort to impress upon
its dealers and their employees the importance of providing prompt,
courteous and reliable service to the motoring public at all times.
I am forwarding a summary of your comments to the operator of the
station and to the local ExxonMobil representative for their review so
that they can take the necessary
steps in response to your complaint.
