On Thursday July 18 at 7pm at the Highland Park Senior Center (6152 N. Figueroa St., 90042), stakeholders are invited to a special Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council meeting with a presentation by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (DWP).
In response to numerous stakeholder complaints about power outages and service interruptions, the focus of the meeting will be on what to do when the electricity goes out and how the DWP responds to service requests in the area.
The DWP has also agreed to have technical staff on hand to answer specific questions about how future housing and business developments in the neighborhood will affect water and power needs.
All stakeholders are invited to attend and ask questions. You can also pre-submit questions online. Pre-submitting questions will help us ensure that the DWP addresses issues that make up the greatest community concerns.
Questions for the DWP can be submitted at the link below.
