Actually, it's the Lakers who can offer that. Clippers can "only"
offer six years and $100 million.
Somebody asked about how players age -- it varies by position. Point
guards have the shortest shelf life, while guys in the 6-10, 6-11
range like Clifford Robinson and Rasheed Wallace last forever. 7-
footers would last even longer -- the guys with the very longest
careers are all 7-footers except for Stockton and Malone -- but
they're much more prone to injury, so on average their career is
