CORNERFOLD is an SBS website featuring new work by Australian
zinemakers, brought to life by new-media design.

A teaspoon-activated escape pod and squadrons of war-ready paper
aeroplanes were part of comic artist Gregory Mackay's childhood
strategies for surviving a likely nuclear war. The first issue of
CORNERFOLD ezine includes animations of these fragile, elaborate
creations.

CORNERFOLD showcases the talents of writers and comic artists who have
honed their skills in zines. The personal, readymade qualities of
zines are combined with beautiful, intelligent multimedia design.
Content formats include Flash animations and Quicktime movies.

The Forecast Project, a Victorian collective of young designers
specialising in new media and typography, brings an innovative design
sensibility to each themed issue.
