Things are looking up for the Husaria Tour II of Poland. We have picked up a
couple of more folks for the tour so we have 6 re-enactors and 3 non
re-enactors.
We really need at least one or two more folks make it work.
Husaria Tour of Poland
August 11 - 24, 2009
This historical and entertaining tour focuses on 'Polish winged hussar' related
sites, armor collections, battlefields and castles.
We will also see the major tourist destinations across the country and the
highlight of the tour being our participation in the Vivat Vasa event held
annually at the 800 year old Gniew Castle http://www.zamek-gniew.pl/
Those with kits may participate in the re-enactment but it is not manditory.
The ground tour price includes 2 great Polish meals a day, admission into
attractions, sites and events, transportation by air conditioned motor coach,
local guides and first class accommodations.
While in Poland we will vivist Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot area, Malbork, Gniew,
Torun, Golub, Sierpc Ethnographic Park, Warsaw, Czestochowa/Jasna Gora, Pieskowa
Skala and the Eagle Nest castles and Krakow.
The food is great, the Poles like Americans and are very hospitable plus you'll
be with folks with the same interests as you.
Flights have never been cheaper for August, contact me for more details.
Also, the zloty is at a good rate of over 3+ Zloty to the US dollar making your
buying power better while in Poland.
Any one interested contact me ASAP before flights go up.
Let me know if you have any questions.
