Having read all the great news on the N Scale ES44's, I would vote for a Z Scale
GEVO, since they (FVM) already have the artwork done.

About 2 years ago, when FVM came out with their N Scale wheel sets, I wrote them
asking if they would be interested in producing Z Scale wheels for us, but they
never replied to my email. This was when I was looking into making a tender
power pickup for the steam loco project on Z Central Station.

I don't know what triggered FVM into producing metal wheels for Z, but I am glad
they are, and I have hundreds of them on order to replace all my plastic wheels
with.

Let's also hope Intermountian and FVM both produce locos and cars for us too!.

This would be a great strategy, Dave. But can we all agree on ONE thing??? I will put my vote in for a new NA steam that can be used for most any road names....

Pick a chassis that is common to many different prototypes. A good running chassis at a reasonable cost is the hardest part for a small M/F to make. The...
