Know the feeling Bro. I heard great things about
Texas too. I was here 18 months before a brother from
TX even approached me. Of course he was from Germany
originaly. I just got hit with a layoff, and am working on
going to the ATL. Remember Bro Wykoff? he is there now
and JW of his lodge.

Bro. What up, I'm trying to get use to this site.
I don't know when the boat ride is, I think it is
in May, hopfully I'll be in ANCOC by then. I'm here
at FT Campbell, and hating it. I belong to Thomas A
Simm Jr #170, and this Lodge ain't what everyone in
Kentucky thinks it is.

Sir Knight,
Believe it or not, you might find
it on the shelf of your local Books-a-Million Store.
If you have that in your area, try that out. If they
don't have it in , then they can order it. I think it
is a pretty universal Ritual.

Miss,

It is wild what an imagination you
have. I hope you don't spend too much time trying to
degrade such a Beautiful Organization as Freemasonry.
But, if you do that is your right and I can only pray
that one day you reach the same goal that all Masons
are working hard to achieve.
I do know that your
views only make us Stronger and we have been around for
a long time and will continue to be long after you
and I are gone from this earth. Tell me this, when
was the last time you saw a new flash about a group
of out of control Masons doing anything, but working
in there communities, trying to make it a better
place. I guess this past holiday season when we adopted
4 single mothers ans there 13 children and made
sure they got a hot meal on Thanksgiving, and gifts
for Christmas we were doing the work of the Devil.
When we adopted a cemetary that has been in our area
for over 120 years and cleaned it up and continue to
maintain it till this day, that has got to be the work of
the Devil. I could go on and on about this Satanic
work us Masons do, but what the heck, you already
now.

May the GAOTU Bless us all.

The integration of biblical events and
Freemasonry has long been a fact of life, and yet apart from
timelines and cultural justification there has never been
any concrete necessity to do this, there is a loose
parallel of Solomon, Hiram and friends to some of the
craft, indeed all of it if you see it that way.
Not
at least the latest attempt by Christopher Lambert
in “The Hiram Key” to tie Christianity in with
Freemasonry, intriguing but unsubstantiated –
There also
was a work earlier by Lambert attributing the unknown
rituals of the Essenes people to be the founding ritual
of Freemasonry, where upon initiation one was
blindfolded and given the oath with the secrets. . . and
Christ being an Essenes underwent presumably this
ritual. . .
I d not support Christianity as a faith
(I am orthodox Jew myself) but I have extensively
studies the writings of Christianity and the writings of
most of the early church fathers. . . . . and even in
there , there has been attempted simulation of interest
groups and the faith, maybe when they kissed their wives
good night and walked off across the mores with a
little briefcase in hand and their little blue book in
pocket. . . . they felt they were an integral part of
their faith in their culture at that time. . . but it
is not substantiated “IN” SCRIPTURE.

Look at history. Most of our Founding Fathers
were Masons. The revolutionary ideals promoted by
these men come from one source- the ancient Wisdom of
Freemasonry. Look it up. It is in plain text for all to see
and read. So why must so called "Christians" try to
discredit them? They dont realize that if it werent for the
masons, this country would not have been founded upon
democratic and tolerant principles. It makes me sick man.
But alas, the teachings of Masonry are pearls before
swine...

I would be interested in opinions and comments
regarding the following found on a new internet
site.

The blinfold, worn by the entered apprentice is used
in only one location in biblical text. It is used
upon Jesus Christ after he was captured and he was
then tortured.

The noose worn by the entered
apprentice is obviously representative of hanging. The only
general description for hanging in the old testament says
that it is reserved for those cursed by
God.

The removal of the shoe represents the submission of
a right of redemption. This is found in association
with boaz, king davids grandfather in Ruth
3.

The slippers which are worn are specifically mule
type. Mule slippers expose the heel. The heel is the
only specific body part mentioned in the bible that
the devil attacks. The bare breast and arm are also
drawn from the same chapter of genesis 3.

The
baring of the legs appears in isaiah 47 in association
with babylon who is also described as a widow, as in
'son of the widow'.

The skull and bones
represent Golgotha, place of the skull, the location of the
crucifixion and the only biblical place where the symbol of a
skull and cross could be united.

Jonathan,

Thank you for posting it and
adopting it as the "logo" for the club.

On other
notes, is there a topic that everyone would like to
discuss? A few ideas for starters is history of our order,
the future of York Rite Masonry in the 21 Century,
what does it all really mean - the allegorical and
moral teachings of the York Rite, etc.

Just a
thought.

Fraternally,
Rick Gonzalez KT
