Welcome to York County Dads! This is an interactive place where Stay at Home Dads in the York County (Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay and beyond)area can get together to network, share their knowledge (or lack of), and of course allow their kids to play with other kids who may be taken care by a Stay at Home Dad. As a SAHD I know of the endless amount of work involved in taking care of a child as well as the duties a man usually gets stuck with such as pulling weeds, or mowing the lawn. A 40 hour work week installing digital cable or even running for Senate would be a vacation as a a SAHD never gets any time off.
Currently I have one boy and a new daughter They are great kids but as a SAHD I know that he needs interaction before he enters school. I also know of how isolated any stay at home parent can feel and knew that I needed to start this group right in York County, South Carolina. Please, school, weather all make play dates tough so if you want to send a post through Yahoo Groups and have a playdate go ahead.
