UUI Microwave Tower, Eek, Alaska

This is a group discussion regarding the set-up, implementation and use of Community Technology Centers in the YK Delta Region of Southwest Alaska. This project provides for public access to the Broadband Internet for each participating community. Centers are funded in part by U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Broadband Initiative, through Regulatory Commission of Alaska, and the grant recipient is United Utilities, Inc. Tribal Councils of participating villages are responsible for the local operation and administration for the Community Technology Centers.
