It seems the folks at LMSA have been busy building their fleet. As you can see from the attached picture there are several Star boats racing on Lake Mattoon. It is unclear whether or not these are "Turner" Stars, but that is certainly the lake, just up from the club by the bridge.
I suppose the downturn in Y building has Chet exploring other boats to build, good thinking.
As you can see on their sails most of these boats come from Frankfort, Kentucky. Perhaps we should include them at next year's Rivi.

It does look like the west shore of Lake Mattoon under the trees.  Of course, the Stars in the background are aground!   : )

Rick, and all
Wanda and I are deeply saddened at this news. It is also distressing to hear that you lost your mother on the same tragic day.
Our deepest condolences are with you and your family on your loss
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Nash Family as well, Jack Jodi and Eric have lost a wonderful part of their lives.The loss to all the folks at Lake Lashaway is big.
Linda was truly a larger than life Lady, all 100 lbs of her!
        Linda Nash may well have been the most vibrant, independent, demanding, pushy, wonderfully loving and giving Lady I've ever met. She could dominate a room with just her presence.
She could be loud, and often was, she could be coarse and often was! :-) She was always generous and helpful.
Her joy at living, at being with you and sharing time with you was truly a gift, and one Wanda  and I will always treasure.
We only glimpsed the suffering Linda had to endure over the last couple of years. She handled her physical issues with defiance,with class and with an indomitable spirit we all should be so lucky to have.
She taught us so much about life and pain and dedication and love and family.
        Last fall Wanda and I were making the trip up to Lake Lashaway for the Kenyon Cup. We also were coming up to make the presentation of the President's award to Jack & Linda and Dick And Phyllis Roubidoux.
Eric Nash and Terry Fraser knew about it and one or two others also might have known. I asked Eric to tell Linda whatever it took to make sure she was there. She flew out to see Jodi and her grandkids just before we arrived.
She was having a bad weekend due to her medicine and didn't want people to see her suffer. Vain? Maybe, but also selfless and caring.  We didn't know the reason at the time and I asked Eric what was she thinking?
Her response, " I just saw Kevin last year. He'll be back up her next year I'll see him then!" Indomitable? Definitely! There was no keeping Linda down and no surrender, ever. She fought the good fight.
She graced our presence and enriched our lives. To those that knew her, we feel your loss. It is deep and personal to us as well.
It is also tempered by the wellspring of good thoughts, good memories and pure joy that Linda gave us all throughout her life.
Farewell to friend.
