Those of you on Broadband may want to take a look at a film featuring
James Pritchard

(of ANET fame) digging in Jordan. The film is titled ‘*The Book and the
Spade*‘ and was made in 1967. [Via Todd Bolen]. U Penn is to be
commended for uploading the sort of thing that’s actually of potential
interest (in contrast to all that YouTube Dreck out there popular with
the amazingly droll).

(and- if it's legal and ethical- if one of you has the ability to
download it and send me a copy on dvd i would be profoundly grateful).
