With a leap that would have done Spiderman proud,
Deadweight launched himself through the shadowy portal.
Landing among a panicign mass of humanity trying to
escape the scene, Deadweight froze. Two Sentinels filled
the street, towering over the frightened population
as they reached for their respective
prey.<br><br>One tried in vain to capture Wolverine, as he bolted
back and forth, his bone spurs striking sparks against
the giant's steel hide.<br><br>The second turned away
from Wolverine, turning towards a small gathering of
three people that seemed to be having an
argument.<br><br>"Damn. . ." Deadweight muttered, grabbing the door
handle to a hastily abandoned police cruiser "I'm
begining to miss the plain old hatred at school. I'd
rather face down a drunk guy with a bat
anyday."<br><br>Allowing his powers to surge through his hands the cruiser
became almost weightless as Deadweight hefted it over
his head. Leaping a good thirty foot into the sky he
hurled the automobile at the second sentinel, knowing
Wolverine could handle himself for a while
longer.<br><br>The instant the police car was no longer in
Deadweight's grip, it's weight returned. It's speed and
trajectory however, remained constant. The car smashed into
the sentinel's face with a resounding crash,
staggering the purple collossus as Deadweight leapt again
towards it's unnassuming target.

::Watching Wolverine leap at the sentinel he does
as commanded and opens an ebony stepping disc and
transports back to Australia. Stepping out of the disc he
see Storm and the others talking not far away::<br>
Storm! Storm! There's been trouble! Logans gotten in a
scrape with two huge metal dudes and they have the worst
color coordination I have ever seen! Grey and purple.
::Shudders::<br>::Opens another stepping disc::<br>Well ya'all gonna just
stand there?

Brooke's blue eyes fill with fear as the metal
beasts turn to her. My God, she thinks. What in the
world is going on? How could they know that I am a
mutant!?! I tried so hard to hide it! She turns to see her
parents cower away from her.<br><br>"Mom...Dad..." she
pleads but all she sees in her parent's eyes is fear and
revulsion.<br><br>"A mutie!" her father spits angrily. "You're a
filthy mutie!"<br><br>Her mother remains silent, tears
falling down her cheeks.<br><br>"Dad..please.." Brooke
chokes on the words as she suddenly notices Wolverine
calling for her to escape.<br><br>"Who?" Brooke whispers
as she looks on in wonder at the man who would dare
attack these metal monsters.

::Hal' and Logan step out of his ebony disc, this
time in an alley. The street before them is cordoned
off and a large rally is taking place. Friends of
humanity banners line the road, and hundreds of people
stand before a large
podium.::<br><br>&lt;Logan&gt;"Those are her parents up there!"<br><br>::Points
to the
couple at the podium::<br><br>"The young girl seated
behind them is Brook Winters, she's the next on the
list. Power down and lets go."<br><br>::The young
blackman draws his powers back into himself, standing
dressed in his normal clothes once
again::<br><br>&lt;Hal&gt;"You think this is wise?"<br><br>&lt;Logan&gt;"No but
we don't have much choice."<br><br>::The two men
move to the podium as the rally
begins::<br><br>&lt;David Winters&gt;"Welcome ladies, gentlemen and more
importantly Human! Our city has been left without the very
heroes who protected it due to the mutant menace
Onslaught. We at the Friends of Humanity mean to bring a
semblance of safety back to our streets, back to our homes,
and more importantly back to our hearts. Working with
the Shaw Foundation we have raised the funds to
purchase these!"<br><br>::Points to two large tarp covered
objects behind him::<br><br>&lt;David&gt; "These will
help us to protect what is ours from the mutant
menace. Allow me to introduce the Mach
VIII's!"<br><br>::Pulling a cord, the two tarps drop to reveal two large
20' Sentinels. Their purple and grey skin gleeming in
the afternoon sun::<br><br>&lt;Hal&gt;"Uh
oh!"<br><br>&lt;Logan&gt;"Damn! Get ready to run when I give the word, scoot
back
to Australia and get Storm and the others we may
need'em."<br><br>&lt;David&gt;"We at the F.O.H. have secured sanctions with the
local police department to gaurd our streets with
these! They are the true friends of humanity and with a
push of this switch I now activate the Sentinel
patrol!<br><br>&lt;Logan&gt;"Run boy! Get the others!"<br><br>::Hal's ebony form
shimmers around him and he creates one of his disc's
stepping off out of sight. The sight of the mutants power
causes a stampede as the F.O.H. members begin to back
off from the suspected mutant. Meanwhile the two
sentinels power up.::<br><br>&lt;Sentinel 1&gt;"Sensors
activated. Human designate Brook Winters you will surender
your self into our control.<br><br>::Popping his claws
Wolverine leaps onto the stage and right at the sentinels
face::<br><br>&lt;Logan&gt;"Like hell she will! Run girl! It's you they're
after!<br><br>&lt;Sentinel 2&gt;"Mutant designate Wolverine. Enhanced
healing, hyper senses. Lack of adamantium, sentinel 2
updating designate wolverine's file."

Well, I think I mentioned my Spider-girl.<br>Her
name is Kitty Connors, Doc Connors's neice. She
transferred to ESU and took Uncle Curt's class just for fun.
She's really a drama major, like MJ was. She was doing
some esperiments for Curt on some of Spidey's blood
when the original spider popped back up, bit her, and
caused her to spill Spidey's blood on the bite. Her and
a boy named Dillon Carter met her first day and
have become friends, possibly could become even more.
But she probably won't find out because anti-mutant
rage has increased and even though she isn't a real
mutant they still see her as one and she might need to
flee soon. <br>Her suit is like a blue body suit, with
what looks like a red bathing suit with a wed pattern
on it over it. She has a partial face mask on, it
looks like Spidey's without a top and back, straps
under chin and thru hair behind head.<br>She has long
curly blonde hair and blue eyes. She's about 5'1.

As a child, Brooke was entered in numerous beauty
pagents, against her wishes, and was expected to be only
the best at everything that she attempted. Her family
had even nick named Brooke their "Perfect Princess".
Upon completion of high school, her mother pushed her
to enter the modeling field, hoping that her
daughter would follow in her foot steps. Brooke didn't
want to become a fashion model but did as her mother
asked, not wanting to dissappoint her family. She craves
the approval of her family. During this time, her
mutant powers began to develop. At first, Brooke was
frightened by the "voices" that she heard in her head until
she discovered that she was in fact reading the minds
of others! She also soon discovered her empathic
abilities and mild telekinesis! Knowing the stigma and
problems that would come from being discovered as a
mutant, Brooke hid her abilities, especially from her
parents who were supporters of Operation: Zero Tolerance!
She currently works with some of the top designers
and magazines. Brooke is considered an up and coming
supermodel although her heart truly lies elsewhere....

Hi everyone, just joined. I love Xmen.<br>Is
anyone playing Rogue or Jubilee yet?<br>I also have a
character Spider-girl... I didn't know they had made the
comic and this was years before they made a marvel
comic and I made her up on my own.

Bryce was a full head taller than the stranger
that forced his way into the room. When the shimmering
black portal materialized and 'Hal stepped out Bryce
knew who sent them.<br><br>"You're from Xavier's
aren't you?"<br><br>"Yup" Logan answered, procuring a
cigar from his inside his leather jacket. "You goin'
somewhere kid?"<br><br>The walls of his dorm room were
bare, only a single chair, the bed, and a dresser
remained, all owned by the university. A large duffel bag
was all that remained of his personal belongings.
"Yeah, I was leaving. It's getting a little hot on
campus."<br><br>With that he opened the curtain, pointing at a large
banner across the quad. The words were hard to read as
it blew in the breeze but the "Freinds of Humanity"
logo could still be easily recognized.<br><br>"I kinda
caused a stir a few weeks back. Most of the campus has
already left so they don't catch the legacy virus. . . I
decided to get while the getting is good."<br><br>"Good"
Logan replied, taking a drag of his cigar "I've got a
proposition for you . . . "

::A black circular disc opens in the darkened
gymnasium, Wolverine pulls out the small CD reader and calls
up the info on Bryce Graves.::<br><br>&lt;Logan&gt;

exits the gym. Using the listed info he quickly finds

into his comlink, he calls Hal:: <br><br>Home in on me

Wolverine found the first name on Xaviers list
easy enough. The Sculpitecture building was huge and
hard to miss. <wonder why Xavier would place the
owners kid on his must protect list? Surly his dad has
enough clout and money to protect his own kid from
Bastion and those Zero Tollerance goons of his.>
::Activating his image inducer, Logan transformed into a
perfect duplication of one of the companies gaurds.
Moving into the elevator he rises up to the families
penthouse. Hearing a commotion a floor below the penthouse
the elevator stops and an angry young blackman enters
the elevator car::<br>&lt;Wolverine&gt; Going
up?<br>&lt;Blackcloak&gt; No! What are you doing? Riding around the floors
on my dad's time?<br>&lt;Wolverine&gt;Oh so your
Hal'? We got alot to talk about you and me.<br>::The
elevator doors slide shut and decends towards the ground
floor. When the doors open again the elevator is empty::

midnights; the only time I get to spend at the 'puter is from 8am to

Ok guys gals and well what evers left. <br> We
need to set times that everyone is available to play

This game is an offshoot of the marvel universe
branching off after the whole Zero Tolerance problem.
Xavier is in prison, after he was convicted of the
entire Onslaught affair including the deaths of the
Avengers, the Fantastic four, and Captian America. The
X-men are hunted and wanted outlaws. To protect Xaviers
dream, Wolverine went back to the mansion to save the
disc's that contained the Xavier protocols. In a battle
with the Zero tollerance troops, the mansion was
destroyed and Wolverine escaped with the disc's into the
Morlock tunnels.<br> Without anywhere else to go,
wolverine made his way to the Australian base the X-men
once held to see what was so important on the disc's.
Slowly he found out.<br> The disc he had liberated was
the mutant underground list of future mutants and
neo-mutants that Xavier was keeping tabs on. Wolverine
realized than that the next generation of mutants was in
his hand's to mold and teach.<br> The X-men are in
hiding and Wolverine has decided to become the next
generation of mutants leaders<br> This team will learn his
ways, this team will not sit back and wait for the
enemy to attack. This team will be the Ultimate X-men.

which has the books available for <br>download. You
will find the link leads to a website set up in
alphabetical order. The various rulebooks are listed under
their first letter and the books are followed by (MSH).
Some of the books are "Judges book(msh)", "Ultimate
powers book(MSH)" etc... I haven't downloaded any of
them since I have the books, so I'm not sure what it

in downstate Iowa when his powers surfaced. Keeping
them secret for a while he accidently revealed them
while saving a young girl from being hit by a drunk
driver. A drunken mob formed almost instantly as the
incident was in clear veiw of a frat, but thankfully it
was dark enough that no one saw his face. Avoiding
and eventually joining the lynch mob (Who would look
for the victim there?) he made his way to
safety.<br>He is fairly athletic, and spends alot of time
swimming and playing Basketball (was going to join the
team before his powers kicked in, a sense of fair play
prevented that. He is intelligent and eager (perhaps too
eager?) to prove his worth.

OOC---I could use some rules. and yes I have a charachter.  Link, he has the
power to blend in to his surroundings.  Making him unseeable to the eye and to
scanners.

Because I am running a message board game and a
live game (hopefully :) alot of people will be talking
both in character (IC) and out of character (OOC). Put
which one your using when posting to keep the board
flowing smoothly.

I use the older (presaga) marvel rules, so post your character here and let me
