Description
Discussion about the Xcat Syntor X radio controller for Ham Radio operators.
The Xcat is a replacement memory module for the Motorola Syntor X series of radios which provides:
1. Computer control of frequency, PL, scanning, etc via serial port and a open source Windows application.
2. Interface to repeater controllers using either the "Doug Hall" or Icom CI-V protocols.
3. Simple standalone operation as 32 mode code plug without a computer.
Software and firmware updates are available in the files area of this group for Xcat owners.
