Description

This group is dedicated to facilitating an international standard for date and time information that is for use by people as opposed to ISO 8601 which is for computer interchange.

This standard will however borrow many of the principles of ISO 8601.

We formed this group to start a conversation on living and speaking of modern Date and Times.

We hope to create a data format that is user-friendly for everyday users, like office clerks, shipping agents, lawyers, all non-technical professionals, or even homemakers who use calendars, appointments, and schedules, etc. daily, and yet at the same time be able to express the information so that it can be understood internationally with no ambiguity of day-month-year, month-day-year, etc.
