Jim,
In Yahoo! Groups, you cannot attach a file directly to a message, but
you can add a file by uploading it. I recommend first creating a folder
with your name and uploading your file into that folder.
In the Weld writing group, the group leader created folders for all
writing group participants to upload their files, and a folder of
general information documents for participants to read.
For instructions on creating folders and uploading files, see the Files
section of
http://lib.colostate.edu/writersontheplains/collaborate/yahoo_groups.html
and Yahoo's how-to instructions at
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/groups/files.
If you have further questions or need help, please feel free to contact
me or your group leader directly.
Greg
