Afraid to Find
is there safety inside
your mind
your thoughts
those words you mention
are scattered about
as if you don't want to be seen
by what you have just spoken
is it because you are shy
in an awkward kind of way
is it because you are sick
in a noncontagious way
but those words you spoke
saw you skate on by
in your sophisticated kind of way
so I stay in the trees shadows
away from the sunny sky
these shadows shall protect me
as you stroll on by
trying to find something
you lost along your life's path
yet what you lost
I am too afraid to find

A Conscious Decision
a conscious decision
to be arrogant
in a brutal sort of way
that truly deserves a lobotomy
kind of vicious isn't it
when reality strikes
the mean hearted
but when all is said and done
there are no giggles left
for those emotional wounded
everyone becomes nonverbal
with only tears running down their face
because a conscious decision
to be arrogant
in a brutal sort of way
is totally sad

Muslims of sub continent provide huge sacrifices for the formation of Pakistan in the name of Islam only. But after achieving goal due to conspiracy of anti Islamic elements & their puppets present in ruling class failed to fulfill the dreams of Quad Azam about Pakistan, which is cheating not only with the Muslims, but is cheating with Allah in the name of Allah. Result divine disasters, Kashmir problem, 71 big tragedy….. This unfair, self desired & corrupt ruling class divide capable & Islamist common public in sets sub sets in the name of caste, nationality, religion ………for their personal & political interests, which is totally against the spirit of
Pakistan. Present miserable situation is also because of this self desired ruling class, who are allergic with Islamic justice law.
After Allah the only one hope of oppressed Kashmires is Pakistan. Unfortunately present Pak rulers claim no threat from India & its media is encouraging western culture instead to project Islamic values & Kashmir freedom movement. Maximum Pakistan tv channels have enough time for bolly wood but no space to expose the brutalities of India in Kashmir, where Muslims do sacrifice for Pakistan as per the spirit of Islam.
Remember Allah the super power will fulfill His promise reward of success, in case system of Pakistan & Kashmir freedom movement will be the symbol of Islamic justice.
No doubt all anti Islamic forces including India are engaged to destabilize Pakistan, occupation of Kashmir & 71 tragedy is the part of the same dirty plan. Even these forces succeed to create different agendas in Kashmir freedom movement also, which movement is based on Islam.
The only one solution of all problems including injustice, terrorism, corruption …………………….is to impose Islamic justice law & instead to war against pipits priority should be given to eliminate the base camps of their masters. I know so called moderate intellectuals will oppose my this fair logic & will label this fair suggestion based on emotions & imagination, but it is the only one option for fair welfare Islamic Pakistan for justice system, independent state policy & for eliminating enmity within boundaries
During meetings with few Pak & Kashmir freedom leaders, I request them that, be symbol of Islam for national cause rather to prefer self or group interests. We can’t change the negative policies of our enemies but are in position to be positive. Is any our leader ready to sacrifice his assets, ego, group, leadership for National intrest, ready for accountability & to live like great Ummer R.A or Ali R.A. Only under such positive circumstances Allah can give us reward, otherwise in the name of moderate & extremism in injustice system with lack of pittance, we are ourselves enough to damage Pak land & to destroy our Kashmir freedom movement. This can benefit
only our enemies. Instead to focus over enemies especially India for freedom of Kashmir, as per the dirty designs of anti Islamic forces, state & non state forces, are engaged unlimited war against each other. And these cunning anti Pak forces & their pipits are enjoying the killing of our assets army & common public both being their target. Anti Pak forces never allow to settle the issues within these forces peacefully. As, they know in case of any unity via fruitful agreement both can prove threat to Pak enemies.
As per moral & Islamic values there is no room for any group or state to target innocent civilians. As human activist served for oppressed Kashmires & Afganes, being victim & eye witness, on the bases of practical observations before twelve years, I have point out this Islamic issue via an open letter to Usama after attack of Alquada on USA embassy in Uganda, where many innocent civilian were killed. But sorry to mention many violent movements claiming the champion of Islam in various parts of the World treat themselves beyond the human values of Islam, which provides chance to enemies & their puppets to mislead about Islam. There is no room of civilian killing
in Islam, so state or non state elements involve in such crimes are practicing the agenda of anti Islamic forces especially in Pakistan, where any type of violence can never be justified.
My great grandfather a social worker used to visit India, he once told me that in Amratser & Delhi before 71, many his friends among businessmen tycoons treat themselves unsafe in case of any attack by Pakistan, but after 71 tables were turned. Afganistan war against USSR recharge that spirit butour weak policies, personal desires, disunity, lack of wisdom…………even after success in Afganistan, provide our enemies enough room to mislead us.

There cannot be a bigger lie than the assertion that Muslims sacrificed for the sake of Islam during the Pakistan Movement or Pakistan was going to be established in the name of Islam.
Every Mullah of any description, such as Jamaat-e-Islami, Khaksar Tehrik, Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam, Majlis-e-Ahraar, every one of them opposed Jinnah and his Muslim League.
The slogan "Pakistan Ka Matlab kia, La Illaha Ill Allah" was simply raised to popularise among the masses the demand for the separate Muslim Home Land.
Don't try to mislead people. You can't delete what has been written in the pages of the history by the short-sighted Mullahs like Maulana Maudoodi who failed to conceive that without a piece of land of their own, Muslims can't lay the foundations of a utopian Islamic State.
The same is true about the Khilafat Movement. They demanded initially from Mustafa Kamal and later on from Sharif-e-Mecca and Shah Saud successively to acquire the title of Khalifatul Muslimeen. They were disappointed miserably.
These people had no courage to make the British Colonialists run away from India and establish Khilafat in their own home land but were uselessly demanding others to assume the title of Khalifatul Muslimeen, not knowing and even now ignorant of the fact that in the age of democracy there is no room for things like Khilafat that is the story of tribal period in the hoistory of Islam.
Shibli Naumani, a Muslim scholar of great learning, once said to Sir Syed Ahmed Khan: "Every nation of the world wants to progess so much that it could touch the sky high limits of development of human society; only the Muslims want to go back, back and back to the extent that they don't want to stop short of Khilafat-e-Raashida ".
Just think about what they are teaching in Maddrassas. This Dars-i-Nizami can't make a person capable of earning his livelyhood and making an individual a respectable, self-relient, bread-earner for himself and his family. The only job that he can do is to become a pesh imaam in a mosque. That means you have no ther business than to construct a mosque for every graduate of a mosque school. Can you do that?
All these graduates from the mosque schools are devoid of innovative powers because innovation called biddah is prohibited in Islam. Muslims' contribution in modern science and technology is zero during the last 500 years.
Therefore, please stop telling lies. This is no service to Islam or the Muslims.

Dear Nazir sb

Read your opinion. My request is that while discussion we should avoid to impose our views, personal attacks & to be within moral valves. Also while committing such dignities, who are noble for others, we are supposed to be too cautious. For details plz go through my article “FORMULA FOR SHEA SUNNY UNITY” published in UMMA.
If we delete Islam in the formation of Pakistan, then what was problem with united India? If we go through history, it was only the spirit of Islam, which motivates Muslims of sub continent to sacrifice & support in the movement of Pakistan.
Those Ulmas, who were opposite to Muslim Leage , also showed concerned about Quad azam & the geography of Pakistan not the agenda of Muslim Leage. For proof please go through the News papers, lectures & magazines of the period from 1940 to 1947. Here let me mention the book written by F.K.Khan Durana “MEANING OF PAKISTAN” , in page No 10, he writes that Pakistan is not only for to Islamilise its own territory, but as base camp to impose Islamic justice to India also, as Islam doesn’t believe on boundaries. Even leading congress leaders like Dr Rajander Parshad in his article in “PAKISTAN PAR IJTEMAYEA NAZAR” in Urdu magazine NEYEA ZINDGEA special Number 1946,admits the agenda of Muslim leage is to frame the Pakistan an Islamic state.
In present Kasmir freedom movement, Islam is the main factor, which motivates majority to sacrifice, in case Islam is deleted, what is problem with India. Even there are more chances of development with India. Also before 1988, situation was normal & majority was supporting N.C. It was only the spirit of Islam, which after the rigging of 87 elections & defeat of USSR in Afganistan recharge the Muslim youth of Kashmir against India.
No doubt many leading Ulmas opposed Quad Azam, without any research, we are not authorized to commit against such noble Muslim scholars. In the book FORMATION OF PAKISTAN written by William, admits that the Muslim scholar Madne was against Quad Azam. Also admits that Molana Madne in addition to charity & other religious activities was engaged in spreading Islam in India & succeed to convert more than thirty thousand non Muslims to Muslims. We are supposed to understand the concerns of Mulana Madne via his articles especially his famous booklet tittled as MUTEHADEA QUMYAT AUR ISLAM.
For leading Ulmas scholars like Molana Modode engaged in providing right direction to Muslims via his literature & newly formed Jamat Islame, it was impossible to limit the message of Islam within boundaries, which ISLAM, the blessing of Allah is for universe.
Regarding the genius Islamic scholar Allama Mashreqe, the founder of Khaksar Tehreek, it is added that his mission was to spread the boundaries of Pakistan by force, so showed concerned regarding Muslim Leage.
Majorty of such Ulmas & Muslim scholars were concerned about the rest Muslim population & not in favor of such weak Pakistan, which can be utilized by West for their interests.
Still after formation of Pakistan Mulana Modode & Molana Mashreqe prefer Pakistan & Muslim scholars like Molana Made, Molana Azad India. It was unfair to leave a great Muslim population alone without any sincere leadership in India. Even after the formation of Pakistan in addition to Education, Charity, Tableeg, there is a huge history of sacrifices Jamat Islame for Pakistan in East Pakistan, Afganistan & Kashmir, which none can deny.
Here let me expose this realty that till 1946, there was not any conception of migration of population, under such circumstances in areas for Pakistan Punjab, Bengal, Sindh the ratio of population of non muslims was more than 33%, , so these Muslim scholars showed concerned about Islamic law because of some landlord Muslim leage leaders& the safety of both Muslims & non Muslims in both countries after being created enmity by Britin.
Quad Azam, who after observing Chankya policy of congress leaders was fed up & was leading with the help of many Ulmas like Shabeer Usmane,Muslims for Pakistan. As per his many speeches & meetings, he was serious to impose Islamic justice Law. And few leading Muslim scholars & ulmas were not ready to limit Islam in boundaries, intention of both were fair. As the both school of thoughts were sincere with Muslims, without self interests & desires.
Quad Azam being fair & honest leader never try to cheat even his enemies. So it is impossible for true leader like Quad Azam to deceive Muslims via slogan PAKISTAN KIA MATLAB KEA LA ELLA H ELL ALLAH. In case as claimed by present few secular scholars, that his intention was never to impose Islamic law in Pakistan, would have never said that we don’t need to import any Law as we have our Shrea Laws & would have stopped masses to raise such Islamic slogans in favor of Pakistan.
Khalafat is only with solution for oppressed human beings. May be those , who are allergic to Islamic our heroes, cant digest these facts, that it is the Islamic laws which gives chance to common person to verify about the dress of Khalefa. Ummer R.A,none can deny Imam Ali R.A. as symbol of Islamic justice. But, sorry to say as mentioned by Imam Khumane that anti Islamic forces while criticizing Islamic heroes are actually opposing Islam.
Regarding Ali Brothers Khalafat tehreek, we need to understand the plans of Jews & other Islamic forces against Usmanyea khalafat & the back ground of Mustafa Kamal, whose mother was also a Jew. So the attempt of Khalafat tehreek was a fair movement but no doubt result was not good for Muslims as consequent measures were not taken. Same situation in present Kashmir movement, not major reforms for affected families of martyrs, migrants, disable, prisoners…& some leaders in the name of sacrifices of Kashmires enjoying luxuries in both sides & throughout the World. No doubt this is tragedy with Islamic movements in the past & in present.
What about present so called democracy in which ruling class in Ind_Pak enjoying all faculties & common public do suffer. Under Islamic justice law & During Khalafat there is no room for such injustice.
Islam in addition to Nezame Daras guides for Education, research, even first Ayat is IQRA, READ. Sorry Ummah failed to practice the main spirit of Islam so are in back seat.
Regarding the services of Islam for modern World let me quote the Book History of the World, in which non believer author admits that it is the Muslim era in Europe, which promote Education, civilization especially the irrigation in western World. Still I do agree being divided in sets sub sets & with differences though with believe in one Allah, prophet & book. Need of time is to understand the reason behind the upper hand of West & downfall of Muslims, which is lack of Education in modern technology, charity, Education.
It is not because of the blessings of Allah ISLAM but because of our deeds. As, we failed to practice the fair spirit of Islam, result we are dependable on West..
Still let us not ignore the services of Muslim scientists in the field of Algebra, sea ships, medicine, but presently no contribution. So need of time is to work hard & follow the path of ISLAM, which guides development in all fields. Then Allah will help us & fulfil His promise as He says, He helps those who help themselves.
May Allah guide us all?

Changes in Life
it has finally come
where I can say it's done
because I did everything
completely by myself
hopefully it's over
and totally finished
so I can say goodbye
and farewell to it forever
but then again
life never stops
it continues on
changing now and then
I guess
really
that I must change too
now and then
yet nobody really changes
unless they want to

Fundamental Human Rights are Universal: Dr. Fai
Washington, D.C. December 10, 2009. Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Executive Director of the Kashmiri American Council/Kashmir Center, today welcomed the statement of Ms. Navanethem Pillay, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights who wanted to encourage people everywhere to honour Human Rights Day 2009 by embracing diversity and resolving to take concrete and lasting actions to help put an end to discrimination.
Dr. Fai said that fundamental human rights are universal. That is the tacit assumption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. They know no religious, national, or political boundaries. And they are not hierarchical, like caste systems or monarchies. Everyone stands on the same plane when human rights are at issue.
Dr. Fai further emphasized that success is measured not only by objectives, but also by whether an alternate strategy would have been an improvement.
Thus, as Churchill said of democracy, it is the worst form of government except for all others that have been conceived or attempted. Similarly, it might be said of the United Nations that it is the worst international organization for achieving peace, self-determination, and human rights, but for all the alternatives that have been attempted or contemplated.
The Executive Director suggested that adding teeth to human rights is urgent. On that count, the news is auspicious. He submitted that candor and fair-mindedness supports the conclusion that the United Nations has been painfully ineffective measured by the yardsticks of international peace, human rights, and self-determination. An initial example so far remains Kashmir. India's international lawlessness has escaped United Nations sanctions or even moral reproach for more than 62 years.
Dr. Fai lamented the seeming conspiracy of silence over gross affronts to the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights in that occupied land, an occupation which itself violates still binding United Nations Security Council resolutions dictating a self-determination there under international impartial supervision. That unheroic muteness has emboldened India to a chilling campaign of human rights atrocities against innocent Kashmiris. The 700,000 Indian military and paramilitary forces operate outside the rule of law under the protective umbrella of an Indian immunity statute. Egregious human rights violations are commonplaces: involuntary disappearances, extrajudicial killings, rape, torture, plunder, abductions, mutilations, arbitrary detentions and recently discovered over 3,000 mass graves in Kupwara.
Dr. Fai cautioned that Dr. Manmohan Singh’s assertion that borders cannot be redrawn in Kashmir is an insult to the intelligence of the people of Kashmir. The people have always revolted against the status quo and the status quo
cannot be an option. The gruesome status quo in Kashmir is both legally and morally unacceptable and militarily and economically frightening, he added.
Finally Dr. Fai reminded that according to Candidate Obama the United States holds urgent national security and foreign policy interests in a negotiated solution to the 62-year-old Kashmir conflict. This obviously is consistent with international law and practices and human rights covenants. Therefore, an appointment of a special envoy on Kashmir will hasten the process of peace and prosperity in the whole region of South Asia, including Afghanistan.
Most of the militant groups have turned away from violence but clashes continue
The Kashmir insurgency - one of the world's longest-running conflicts - began 20 years ago this week. And it was the shockwave from the fall of the Berlin Wall that gave young Kashmiris the confidence to take on the Indian state, the BBC's David Loyn says.
Simmering discontent over this unfinished business left over from the partition of India in 1947 turned into a full-scale insurgency after the kidnap of Rubiya Sayeed, the daughter of the Indian home minister, on 8 December 1989.
She was released a few days later in exchange for five militants held in an Indian jail.
A police crackdown on victory celebrations was the spark that lit the fuse of the conflict.
One of the militants who took up the gun that week, Mukhtar Baba, said that he and his friends had the confidence to take on India because of events in Europe.
"The German people stood up against that man-made Berlin wall, so we thought why don't we, and we started that armed struggle here," he says.
The then chief minister of Indian-administered Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah, says he saw the trouble coming.
It is not a battle between Kashmiri independence and India, but between the secular forces of India and the fundamentalist forces which are wanting to get hold of the Kashmir valley
Afsar Karim Retired Indian general
"It was not only the Berlin Wall, I think the main thing was the Russian defeat in Afghanistan. They felt if a power like Russia can be thrown out, why not India," he says.
He addressed a packed public meeting to try to warn Kashmiris of what was to come.
"I told them, 'what you are doing is wrong. It will not lead you to any place other than the destruction of our state; our houses will go; our villages will be blown up; innocent people will die; many of our womenfolk will be raped and murdered'," Mr Abdullah says.
Differing goals
Twenty years on, there are no reliable estimates of the number of people killed, but it is generally believed to be upwards of 50,000.
The Kashmiri-based International People's Tribunal on Human Rights has recently called for a thorough investigation of mass graves of bodies buried by Indian security forces.
The Indian government has rejected the findings, but the head of the research group, Khurram Parvez, says that much still has to be revealed. He has estimated that one in 10 people living in the Kashmir valley has been tortured.
From the beginning there were differing goals for those who took up the gun.
Some wanted Pakistan to take over all of the original state of Kashmir, but most wanted unification of the two wings of the original state in a separate new independent country.
Global jihad
As the insurgency ground on, from the mid-1990s the Indian state faced a new threat. Among the Kashmiri youths coming across the Line of Control after training on the Pakistani side were battle-hardened Islamist warriors who had come to fight a jihad. They were Arabs, Afghans and Pakistanis.
I met some in Indian custody in 1994, including the alleged military commander of a new guerrilla group - the Harkat ul-Ansar. His name was Sajjad Afghani - (Sajjad "the Afghan"), and he proved to have a very limited political agenda.
He was fighting not for Pakistani control of Kashmir but for a global jihad.
We did not know it then, but this kind of thinking was about to take centre stage in world politics.
So while the fighting in Indian-administered Kashmir may have been inspired by the end of the Cold War, it provides a direct link with the new conflicts of the 21st Century.
Big change
Pakistan's repeated and strong denials that they backed militant training camps were rejected by the incoming administration of US President Bill Clinton in 1993, who demanded that the camps should close, threatening to put Pakistan on the list of "state sponsors of international terrorism".
The Dukhtaran-e- Millat advocates a more rigorous lifestyle for women
Conveniently enough, the chaos of the civil war in Afghanistan meant that the camps should be shifted there, and when Osama Bin Laden reappeared in the region in 1996 he was given control of some of this training.
Retired Gen Afsar Karim, one of India's leading defence analysts, says that this development was the most threatening aspect of the Kashmir conflict.
"It is not a battle between Kashmiri independence and India, but between the secular forces of India and the fundamentalist forces which are wanting to get hold of the Kashmir valley."
The war has seen a big change in Kashmiri society. There is a new seriousness of intent in Islamic practice here in a place once famous for more tolerant liberal ways.
A women's movement, the Dukhtaran-e- Millat (Daughters of the Faith), holds classes to try to change the ways of Kashmiri women to a more rigorous lifestyle including covering every part of their body.
Their fundamentalist world view includes a demand for Pakistan to control all of Kashmir. They also believe that 9/11 was an attack carried out by America on itself.
One of their leading members Naheeda Nasreem, dressed all in black, including black gloves, says: "Is there any proof it was done by any Muslim? We think it might have been done by them. The Taliban and other forces are working at the behest of America and Israel. Why are the Taliban terrorising Pakistan? This is only on at the behest of America. They sent some people dressed as Muslims."
'Sky's limit'
Most of the original militant groups have turned away from violence. They are waiting for the result of a peace process that has been called "quiet diplomacy" backed by US President Barack Obama.
Yasin Malik warns there could be "another revolution"
Both Pakistan and India now appear ready to compromise. On a recent trip to Srinagar, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told a secessionist politician that - apart from the border itself - anything could be negotiated.
"The sky's the limit," he said.
There is some impatience for progress, and the Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Yasin Malik, warns that if there is no progress, then it will be hard to stop young Kashmiris from returning to violence.
He has tried to lead a path of non-violent resistance, but knows of the impatience of Kashmiris for a settlement.
"For God's sake, don't give our next generation a sense of defeat. If you are giving them a sense of defeat you are pushing them for another revolution," Yasin Malik says.

In this photo taken Oct. 7, 2009 in Bimyar, about 60 miles (100 kilometers) west of Srinagar, India, Kashmiri farmer Atta Mohammed, 70, gestures as he speaks to the Associated Press at a graveyard where he says he has helped bury 235 unidentified dead. Human rights workers say that in the past 18 months they have identified dozens of burial grounds where they believe Indian security forces dumped more than 2,400 corpses. In a region struggling to emerge from two decades of violence that has left 68,000 people dead, the graveyards have deeply shaken Kashmir, digging up memories of the estimated 10,000 people who disappeared at the height of the fighting. (AP Photo/Mukhtar Khan) (Mukhtar Khan - AP)
BIMYAR, India -- He left home on a rainy Wednesday morning, walking through the gate of his solid middle-class house and into the narrow streets of Srinagar, Kashmir's largest city. He needed to pick up some medicine for his elderly father.
It was the summer of 1996. Ali Mohammad Mir was 40 years old, a gentle-spoken building contractor and a father of three. In a lush Himalayan valley savaged by cycles of guerrilla attacks and government crackdowns, a place where politics and violence almost always went together, he was utterly apolitical. Desperately nonpolitical.
His family never saw him again.
Here, in this quiet mountain village about 60 miles away, is where Mir may have ended up, in a grave marked only by a mound of dirt, surrounded by the graves of hundreds of other unidentified men. Or perhaps he's in the cluster of unmarked graves in the forests of Parra-Gagarhill, or among the bodies buried in the cow pasture in the village of Kichama.
"He is out there somewhere," said Mir's son, Zahoor Ahmad Mir. He has spent years researching his father's final hours, and now believes he was killed by a militia tied to the Indian army. "They killed him and they threw him aside. Now he is buried somewhere. He must be."
Dozens of these anonymous burial fields have been identified by human rights workers over the past 18 months, nameless graveyards where Indian security forces dumped nearly 2,400 nameless corpses.
In a region struggling to emerge from two decades of violence that have left 68,000 people dead, the graveyards have deeply shaken Kashmir, digging up memories of the estimated 8,000 people who disappeared at the height of the militancy. At a time when support for separatist violence has waned, and many Kashmiris have become more focused on jobs than politics, the graveyards brought waves of renewed anger against the government. Days of rioting broke out after rights workers released the first list of burial fields.
The graves have also become constant reminders that while violence is down, it is far from over. Bodies have been buried as recently as the past few months.
"There is no place in Kashmir where innocent blood has not been spilled," said Zareef Ahmed Zareef, a Kashmiri poet
But who were the dead? Security officials dismiss them as Muslim militants killed in gunbattles, and some, certainly, were fighters. But rights workers say most were innocent civilians who fell into the maw of the security forces.
They were young men grabbed for their money or killed to settle personal scores. Some were mistaken for militants by terrified Indian soldiers.
Indian security forces are largely shielded from prosecutions by a thicket of emergency laws, and while there have been a small handful of investigations, most of the disappearances may never be explained. Two decades after the insurgency broke out, only a tiny fraction have been accounted for.
The bodies themselves give a few clues. According to villagers ordered by police to bury them, they are often of particular sorts: there is blood and shattered bone where they were shot, or they are burned beyond recognition. Many show signs of beatings. At one cemetery, police told villagers they would bring seven bodies for burials. They brought seven heads.
"This is a hidden issue here," said Pervez Imroz, the Kashmiri lawyer who helped prepare the reports and whose teams are scouring Kashmir for more graveyards. He has repeatedly urged an official probe, to no avail. "They can't hold this investigation because it will cause a huge embarrassment to the Indian state."
Security officials declined to comment on the graveyards. Outside of Kashmir, in the Indian parliament and media, the graves get barely any attention. Omar Abdullah, the state's top elected official, would only say: "It's being looked into."
Mir's eldest son doubts that.
Zahoor Ahmad Mir's life has been consumed by his father's disappearance. Over the years he has spoken to witnesses, soldiers and thugs. He has filed dozens of legal requests. Slowly, a story took shape. He says his father was grabbed off the street by a Kashmiri militia often used by the Indian military to target civilians. The son has no idea why it happened - perhaps it was a mistake, perhaps an extortion attempt - but the elder Mir was beaten, driven out of the city and finally hanged from a tree behind an army base.
Officially, though, none of that happened. Instead, one day he simply ceased to exist.
"I don't care much about justice anymore," said the son, his connection to his father reduced to a worn plastic bag stuffed with court documents, fading newspaper clippings and tattered photocopies. "I don't think justice can happen here."
"I just want my father's body."
Kashmir has long experience with violence. A mountainous region of pine-covered hills, apple orchards and rushing rivers, Kashmir - the only majority Muslim state in largely Hindu India - is divided between India and Pakistan but claimed by both.
In 1989, its nightmare began after rigged state elections ignited a separatist insurgency which, in turn, provoked brutal military crackdowns. India began accusing Pakistan of supporting the militants with money, training and weaponry, a charge Pakistan denies.
The fighting savaged Kashmir. Tens of thousands of people were killed, many of them civilians. The economy withered. Unemployment soared.
But the past few years have seen the beginnings of change. First came Sept. 11, 2001, and pressure on Islamabad to rein in Kashmiri militants on its soil. Then, in 2003, India and Pakistan launched a peace effort that, despite many stumbles, has helped mend relations. Finally, politically minded Kashmiris, wearied by the relentless bloodshed, began shifting focus away from militant violence. Over the past two years, massive protests - with violence usually limited to stone-throwing - have filled the streets of the region's cities, a reflection of both enduring anger with India and exhaustion with the insurgency.
The result: Deaths connected to the insurgency dropped from 4,507 in 2001 to 541 last year.
Today, Kashmir sways regularly between brutal violence and its own strange version of normalcy. Srinagar now boasts clusters of new McMansions with mirrored windows and cavernous living rooms. It has a Reebok store and coffee bars serving cappuccinos. For the first time in years tourists are commonplace.
Across Kashmir, cities and villages no longer slam shut at sunset.
And yet.
The new Srinagar airport might boast soaring ceilings and cell phone kiosks, but it is also ringed by grim soldiers cradling automatic weapons.
The state's opposition leader has a new official residence - until recently a feared military torture center known as Papa-II. And while weeks can pass without major guerrilla attacks, sometimes a half-dozen Kashmiri villages are shaken by gunbattles in one day.
Across Kashmir, more than 700,000 members of India's security forces remain on guard.
If support for the insurgency has withered, the Indian soldiers are still widely detested. Perhaps nowhere more than in the villages forced to bury the dead.
Atta Mohammed knows all about the nameless dead. The 70-year-old Bimyar farmer has buried 235 of them. He knows their bruises and their bullet wounds. He knows if they were burned so badly their mothers would not recognize them.
"I took mud from their mouths and ears. I cleaned the blood from them," said Atta, a quiet man with rotting teeth and a neatly trimmed white beard. About 12 years ago, police began bringing bodies to be buried in a small empty field. They stopped only when there was no more room. All that time, Mohammed cared for the dead.
"The bodies started coming and coming and coming," he said. "Sometimes there were five bodies at once. Sometimes eight bodies."
"We would ask the authorities: 'Who are they?'" he continued, showing a visitor around the cemetery. "They would just say: 'They are militants.'"
Then, as he always does when he visits the graveyard, he prays.
He stands in the shadow of a mountain range speckled with pines and reaches out his hands in supplication. And his murmuring scatters across the graves.

A Cold, Bitter World
before me
I see things
I thought I'd never see
I turn
trying not to see
pretending not to know it's there
as shivers spiral throughout me
making me want to turn around
to see what is there
it also makes me cover my eyes
and run away in other direction
so I can think I imagined what I saw
yet it's funny
how the mind plays tricks
even when it isn't Halloween
I uncover my eyes
only to notice nothing is there
I reach out
trying to touch
what I thought I saw
but nothing is there
only emptiness surrounds me
somehow I found aloneness
in a world scattered about
and I became cold, bitter too,
like the windchill in 40 below temps
so cold
that I turn around,
cover up, and hide in a blanket
knowing there is nothing there
to see, to touch
there is nothing there
for me to feel
and feelings no longer exist
in a cold, bitter world

Four of my very short list of "for certain" uncorrupted 9-11 truth investigators. (Bollyn, Jones, Honegger, Dewdney)
We had the evidence, brainpower and the courage -- but the public didn't know that and were prevented from finding out by a highly sophisticated social behavior programs intensively applied.
The thousands of intelligent Americans who made it their business to review the available evidence photos, witness recordings and deocuments to inform themselves and from that penetrated the deception and learned the terrible truth each, at that point, had thrust upon them a responsibility to fight to get the truth through to their countrymen, their fellow victims of 9-11. That is why I never let go. But we are living in a country where fathers abandon their families, couples divorce, pregnant mothers get abortions, employees afraid of losing their elite by taking stands for what is right on their jobs betray their co-workers and the public every day -- even the investigators who weren't directly working for the conspiracy, might as well have been because docility against highly assertive and dominant-personalit y type operatives assigned to suppress their

(Of course some of them just follow a play book devised by social psychologists, a set of behavior programs for deconstructing the good guy and extinguishing all of his effort. Man in the end is an animal, subject to conditioning like all the rest. (My view was that man had an advantage in that he understood the conditioning process and could therefore design an environment to bring out his best truthful, beneficient behavior -- but the Money Power got control of that environment first with their credit monopoly and so we never had a chance to exercise this scientific type of freedom for our own benefit.

The Babri Mosque (Hindi: बाबरी मस्जिद, Urdu: بابری مسجد), Babri Masjid or Mosque of Babur was a mosque in Ayodhya, on Ramkot Hill ("Rama's fort"). It was destroyed in 1992 when a political rally developed into a riot involving 150,000 people, [1] despite a commitment to the Indian Supreme Court by the rally organisers that the mosque would not be harmed.[2][3] More than 2000 people were killed in ensuing riots in many major Indian cities including Mumbai, and Delhi.[4] The mosque was constructed in 1527 by order of Babur, the first Mughal emperor of India.[5][6] Before the 1940s, the mosque was called Masjid-i Janmasthan ("mosque of the birthplace").[7] It is alleged Babur's commander-in- chief, Mir Baqi, destroyed an existing temple at the site which commemorated the birthplace of Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and ruler of Ayodhya. The Babri Mosque was one of the largest mosques in Uttar Pradesh, a state in India with some 31 million Muslims.[8] Although there were several older mosques in the city of Ayodhya, an area with a substantial Muslim population, including the Hazrat Bal Mosque constructed by the Shariqi kings, the Babri Mosque became the largest, due to the importance of the disputed site. The political, historical and socio-religious debate over the history and location of the Babri Mosque and whether a previous temple was demolished or modified to create it, is known as the Ayodhya Debate.

In 1994, Italian journalist Enza Massa was at the Italian National Library in Rome when she stumbled upon an unusual find. It was a manuscript dating to 1629, titled: Nostradamus Vatinicia Code. Michel de Notredame, the author's name, was on the inside in indelible ink. This manuscript, never published by Nostradamus, was handed down to the prophet's son and later donated by him to Pope Urban VIII. It did not surface again until now, almost four hundred years later.
The cryptic paintings vary from the strange to the bizarre, with images of popes,decapitations and strange creatures. Known as the "Vaticinia Nostradami", this book has often been considered to be Nostradamus' final propheciesregarding the end of the world as we know it. It was said that Nostradamushad handed the book over to his son who in turn was to donate it to a cardinalat the time who later went on to become Pope Urban VIII;
the book eventuallyended up in the library. In both the paintings and the accompanying quatrains within, Nostradamus is saidto have predicted the Nazi Blitzkrieg, the assassination attempt on Pope JohnPaul II, the burning of the oil wells of Kuwait by Iraq, and Boris Yeltsin'srise to power.
Some of the paintings reveal new prophecies, while others are eithergenerally indecipherable or linked to earlier quatrains, but not indicated. Among the paintings are a Pope with the body of a dog, female priests, clergymenbeing attacked and a black-skinned pope. Following are original imagesfrom the Nostradamus Vatinicia.
Giancarlo Rossi, part of the research team given exclusive access to the book, has been actively updating the Vaticinia Nostradami page on Wikipedia with more information and reproduced versions of the paintings found in the book. Following are some of the more notable images:

Belief brings me close to You but only to the door.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of "belief," not in the way most people use it today. I think of that sort of belief as the religious form of "Fake it 'till you make it." It can help a person go forward, but it's also a hollow act until it blooms with organic life from within. At best, belief can only bring us to the threshold. No matter how loudly or passionately we profess it, belief alone is not enough.
It is only by disappearing into Your mystery that I will come in.
The final step -- which is really the only step -- is the step into the unknown. It is in opening ourselves to the fullness of the sacred mystery all around us that we finally cross the threshold.
True, belief is what gives some the courage to let the ego fall
("disappear") in order to step naked through the doorway. But for too many belief does the opposite, armoring the ego, becoming the excuse to not see, to not understand, and to not take that step. Those with certainty but no knowledge have no tolerance for a reality beyond the mind's limited conception.
To really meet the mystery, we must be UNcertain. We must be open-minded, open-hearted, curious, courageous, quiet, poised... and humble enough to not notice our own sweet melting. That is when we've finally stepped through.

When I was in my first year of college, I spent a day in a wheelchair. I wasn't injured. I just wanted to do it, as an awareness exercise. Not for some class assignment. I wanted to get a better sense of how people in wheelchairs relate to their environment. Making my way across the University of Southern California campus was no easy feat. Trying to find ramps hidden around the back of
buildings. Elevators that existed only at the other end of a hallway Asking strangers to open doors I couldn't quite tug open. The simplest things became difficult puzzles. And my arms were exhausted by the end of the day. But I highly recommend it. It will change your relationship to the world around you.
Well, unfortunately, my wife is going through her own version of an awareness exercise, but not by choice, and with significant discomfort. Early last week, my wife fell and broke her wrist. (That's why the poetry emails stopped without notice.) When we haven't been sitting in doctors' offices, I've been helping her with all the little things two-handed people take for granted: carrying things from room to room, fastening buttons, opening food containers... She goes through surgery Tuesday, more time in a cast, but over a few weeks she'll get normal use of her hand back.
I better check on her again, see if she needs another ice
pack...
Wishing you all lots of love, and safe footing!

Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of the month of Ramadan. Fitr means to break and it signifies the breaking of the fasting period and of all evil habits. It is a show of joy at attaining spiritual prosperity after a month of fasting.
For over one billion Muslims throughout the world, Ramadhan is a special month of the year. During the month of Ramadhan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset every day. Ramadhan was the month in which the first verses of the holy Qur'an were revealed to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). It is a time for inner reflection, devotion to God and self-control. The sighting of the new moon at the end of Ramadhan heralds the celebration of Eid ul-Fitr.

AMEEN
Subject; Kashmir , the “ignored Human tragedy”
Sir/Madam
With regards, good wishes & prays, it is requested, that my appeal may be taken seriously. I do not write as an advisor or even as a Kashmire or Pakistani or Indian. Nor do I write as an expert on politics. (Though have limited knowledge & do write about World politics) Rather, I write simply as a human activist, (have donated life for Human service) being victim & eyewitness of inhuman acts in both countries. Here let me start with the quote the spirit of all religions & Humanity:
“According to spiritual & moral psychology, most of our troubles are due to our passionate desire for and attachment to things that we misapprehend as enduring entities.”
Sir/Madam; after Mumbai& Balochistanhuman tragedies it is but natural phenomena Ind-Pak policies makers have lose control over their minds through anger & hatred , so are without sense of judgment. Presently their minds are blinded and at those wild moments anything can happen, including war. In the event of a nuclear war there will be much destruction in both poor countries & none can claim as victor. Thus, the practice of compassion and wisdom is useful, especially to those responsible for running national affairs, in whose hands lay the power and opportunity to create the structure of peace.
Sir/Madam; anger plays no small role in current conflicts between two countries. These conflicts arise from a failure to understand the main reason behind enmity, KASHMIR DISPITE.The solution is not to use of greater military force, nor to blame each other, which can only make powerful anti peace hardliners in both sides. Even after war also both countries have to meet around the table in either Delhi or Islamabad . So war or any type of violence is in favor of neither India nor Pakistan . So both countries
should give emphases to set right their intelligence & security system & for solution of their problems utilize peaceful measures other than power & violence, to avoid Kashmir, babre Masjid tragedy, Merrit, Male, Samjota, Mumbai,Wazerestan, Balochastan…..tragedies.
Sir/Madam: India & Pakistan , both is target of non-state militants. No doubt Muslim & Hindu militants are under close watch in both countries. Pakistan has banned all militant groups & is involve in war against such groups, resulting at the cost of huge human loss in both sides, has succeeded to crush their hideouts. India after exposing Hindu hardliners involve in Babre Masjid,Gujrat,Male & Samjota express is in slow process to bring the culprits to task.
Via open war against militants, innocent public also are victim of atrocities, which empower militant network again. Even Great Britain was not in position to eliminate Irish militancy completely, so utilize the best option peace process. So both countries instead blame each other than cooperating to overcome this tragedy via mutual understanding & hearty cooperation
Sir/Madam; although both countries before Mumbai & Balochistan tragedies, were involved generating more mutual cooperation. But it is difficult to achieve a spirit of genuine cooperation as long as Kashmir dispute is not solved. Peace cannot be created on papers. Because when Nations are motivated mostly by greed and jealousy, it is not possible for them to live in peace & harmony. Only a moral approach may solve Kashmir dispute.
Sir/Madam: of the many problems which the both countries face today, some are because of corrupt system; some are natural calamities and must be accepted and faced by rulers with equanimity. However, all others are because of Kashmir dispute, whichis the threat of nuclear destruction.Sir: Madam :Now it is time
for policy makers of both countries to realize the self interests of some high cadres & conspiracy of the opportunist block, who continuously for the 61 years are involved in blackmailing both countries via Kashmir dispute, for their interests. Resulting majority in both sides are below poverty line without basic faculties. So both countries should be serious to settle Kashmir problem as per the wishes of Kashmir ’s, to overcome their problems via converting their defense budget to welfare.
Kashmir problem can be solved by peace loving World; too much depends on the attitude and cooperation of both countries. Both countries cherish peace with harmony and do not want suffering. It then becomes for both countries morally wrong and pragmatically unwise to pursue only their own interests oblivious to the feelings and aspirations of Kashmir . Who from centuries mainly from last 20 years are victim of atrocities, where huge number of Kashmires killed, physically & mentally disable, attack on honor via many rap cases, thousands Muslims non-Muslims compled to migrant & many are behind the bars. The wiser course for both countries is to think of Kashmir ’s also when pursuing
their own harmony. This will lead to solve this 61-year-old dispute.
If rulers, politicians & other institutions of both countries will adopt an irresponsible approach and constantly try to use Kashmir’s for their interests, they may gain temporary benefits, but in the long run they will not succeed in achieving harmony , and peace in this region will be completely out of the question. As we all are supposed to accept the universal fact, that there is a super power, which can show His reaction in case right of self-determination of poor Kashmir ’s is ignored, in the name of national interests. As both countries are victim of Divine law via Tamil & Afghan militants.
Basically peace loving World have to understand the basic problem of enmity between Ind-Pak. Hatred and war cannot bring solution of their problems, even to the winners of battle. War & violence always produces sufferings, misery and thus is essentially counter-peaceful ways. It is, therefore, time for Ind-Pak leaders to learn to transcend the differences of opinion and to regard one another through neutral eyes. To do so would benefit both nations in fight with common enemy, poverty. Also both are victim of non-state militants. Such elements will also automatically be completely eliminated in both countries only after solution of Kashmir problem, as due to enmity of both countries because of
Kashmir dispute, have sympathy of a section of society in both countries.
Sir/Madam; it is indeed a tragic that few powerful members continue to misuse world bodies like the UN for their one-sided interests. The UN must become the instrument of world peace on the base of justice. Then this world body must be respected by all, UN is the only source of hope for small oppressed nations and hence for the whole world as a whole.
However, sir/Madam; all peace loving human activists are with hope & expectations that both countries will accept the right of self-determination of Kashmir’s, which UNO has recognized & will satisfy their violent/political people via proper heart-to-heart dialogue, then peace will surely come in sub continent. And the threat of nuclear war & non-state violence will be over forever, which will bring harmony in subcontinent.
Thanking you Sir/Madam
Waiting your positive response
Sincerely Yours

Notice
Do you ever notice
the simple things in life
when you lie, cheat, and steal
Do you ever notice
those people against the wall
sitting by themself
having nobody to talk to
Do you ever notice
the sun as it rises
or sets along the horizon
Do you ever notice the difference
between talking with someone
and talking at someone
Do you ever notice
anything besides yourself
Sometimes you have to notice
things outside of your own existence
But you never, ever notice
things other than yourself
do you
Just once in awhile
take the time to notice
and you'll see
there is life
outside your tiny box

As every one knows humanity is suffering today because of such destructive polcies,
There should be positive policy to come and have a strong unity and brotherhood of
Muslims and Pandiths, ,,,,As I say,,
Let,s first build the symbol of humanity,
Brotherhood should stand so high,
Let,s first build the tomb of respect,
Unity should stand so long,
Let,s first come togather like old days,
New shines should make sky so bright,

Dear Pandit Brother,
There seems to be more to this story than meets the eye.
Some of our Pandit brothers have, in recent days, been filming and photographing the state of dis-used temples in the valley, to use use these images against the muslims. If the temples have not been used for over 20 years and the state has not done anything to maintain them, why are the muslims blamed for this ?
There are two scenarios that emerge from this story:
1. The few muslims who 'threatened' the pandits were merely objecting to the filming and photographing the temples for the purpose of using these images in other parts of India to malign the Kashmiri Muslims
2. If the group has really threatened our Pandit brothers with voilence and gun etc , these are paid agents of God knows which party. Please remember there are scores of elements, both governmental as well as non-governmental, at local, national, and even international levels, who have a stake in fomenting trouble in Kashmir and keep it boiling for ever...
Let us Kashmiris wake up please ............ ......... ......... .

Kashmiri Pandits, who braved on in the valley at the height of militant violence in 1989, are now scared. After threats to their life came from members of the majority community in the Kashmir valley.
Threatening to migrate now, Sanjay K. Tickoo, who heads the Pandit Sangarsh Samiti (KPSS), said the Samiti members were attacked on Sunday by five to six persons from the majority community when the pandits were clicking pictures of a temple at Chattabal.
"It was 386th temple which we wanted to document through pictures for restoring it. But five six members from the majority community came and threatened us," Tickoo told the Hindustan Times. "The villagers who had gathered at the spot did not intervene. This shows that the attitude towards the minority community has not changed."
Tickoo said these men used the words like "Jis tarah humne tumhare mandiroon ko Jalaya hai vaise hi tum logon ko jalayenge, aur kisi ko pata bi nahi chalega (The way we have burnt your temples, in the same way we will burn you and no one will know about you). Yehan sirf Islam Chalega (Only Islam will prevail here). India ko lagta hai kit tum logon ko vapas layega, jo bi aaye ga mara jayega, hum log phir se gun uthayenge (India thinks that they can bring Kashmiri Pandits back to Valley, who so ever will come will die, we will again raise arms against you)."
Tickoo said the men manhandled the members of the KPSS. "We had to leave the place."
The Samiti has now sought Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's intervention in the matter. It has also written to the both factions of the Hurriyat Conference, which had promised them security.
"We will also send a memorandum to the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and the Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq tomorrow," said Tickoo.
The KPSS requested the state and Central administration to re-think their proposal to bring back the Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley. They should instead the prepare to register the fresh lot of migrants who will leave the Valley in the coming days if the situation is not taken care of in due course of time, the Samiti leader said.

The United States might be denying direct mediation on the Kashmir issue, but it has opened up diplomatic channels with Hurriyat Conference headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to push for a final settlement on the issue.
Top US State Department members were in touch with the Mirwaiz during his New York visit in September, when he went there to attend the Organisation of Islamic Countries meeting. Those top State Department members work in close association with US’ Special envoy for Af-Pak Richard Holbrooke.
Confirming his meeting with state department members, Mirwaiz told theHindustan Times “the US is eager to resolve the Kashmir issue once for all. They are again showing interest in Kashmir.”
Without naming anyone, the Hurriyat chairman
said the seriousness on the part of the US can be gauged from the fact “it has identified individuals to study the Kashmir issue with new global realities.”
The Obama administration is under pressure from Pakistan to deliver on the Kashmir issue to see a progress on the Afghan front. Pakistan has been arguing “the peace to Afghanistan has to come through Kashmir”.
It’s reliably learnt that the Obama administration has asked renowned security expert Stephen Cohen to study the Kashmir issue. He has already presented a paper on the Kashmir issue and the peace process to the Obama administration.
In the past, India had objected to the US decision to appoint former US president Bill Clinton as pointman on the Kashmir issue. Of late, to contain spread of extremist forces in the areas closer to Afghanistan, the US is keen to resolve the Kashmir issue to plug spread of Taliban-ism in the
area.
Pakistan has been using the Kashmir issue to recruit men from the North West Frontier Provinces (NWFP), North and South Waziristan and Punjab. The Hizbul Mujahideen used to have a training camp in the NWFP.
Resolving the Kashmir issue will weaken the Taliban movement as it will relieve many fighters who have waged “jehad” in the name of the Kashmir cause.
