This is a Yahoo! Groups mailing list created for the Wilson Resource Center (WRC), an Iowa Great Lakes region gay-owned nonprofit community based organization advocating for full equality for all people, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression, and providing free and confidential support, social, informational and educational resources for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, intersex, queer, questioning, asexual and allied (GLBTIQA) people. The group owner/moderator uses the mailing list as an e-newsletter to promote relevant GLBTIQA events of interest to those within the WRC "outreach" area, a 120-mile radius of the Iowa Great Lakes region, including northwest, north central and west central Iowa, southwest and south central Minnesota, southeast South Dakota, and extreme northeast Nebraska. The group/owner moderator includes relevant GLBTIQA events outside of the WRC "outreach" area as long as they're statewide in scope for Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska or South Dakota. Members of wrc-events are encouraged but not required to also join wrc-forum, the "WRC Chat Forum" Yahoo! Groups mailing list.
