This is a forum for discussing topics that may not be suitable for the core WPM lists because they are too divisive and emotive. It is not intended as a substitute for our Ning community which remain our home base.

These are topics where experience has shown that there are divided opinions,
and that no agreement, consensus or compromise emerges.

In some cases these are topics that would be off-topic for the two core lists.

These are topics that seem to give rise easily to critical, disrespectful and hostile comments.
These include
* Party and national politics
* Anthropogenic Global Warming * Specific wars
* Vegetarianism v. carnivory

Other topics may be added as and when they achieve the status of a "Hot Topic."

This list has a two post per day per person limit and a rule of mutual respect and avoidance of personal insult.
