The group acts as a communications conduit to the community for Wolverine Power Cooperative's plans and activities for the construction of a base load power plant within the limestone quarry near Rogers City, MI.

The group provides a means of direct feedback from the community to the company on issues related to the project, anticipates potential problems the community may experience due to construction,and discusses how those problems should be addressed.

This public forum will allow anyone to access the discussion topics and background files.

The advisory group is made up of individuals from all areas of Presque Isle County. It is co-chaired by Dennis Downie, Rogsers City Postmaster, and Joseph A. Cercone, Executive Director of Presque Isle County Economic Development.

The other members are: Harry Whiteley, former Chairman of the Natural Resources Commission and past Editor/Publisher of the Presque Isle County Advance newspaper; Matt Quaine, Rogers City Chief of Police; Jim Przybyla, local businessman; Eugene O'Neil, retired financial advisor; Armand Loiselle, Rogers City School Board; William Valentine, Project Manager, Saudi Media Systems & Presque Isle resident; Michael Eustice, realtor; Ken Wozniak, businessman and President of the Posen School Board; Anne Belanger, Program Director of the Presque Isle District Library; David Nadolsky, former mayor of Rogers City; Mike Marx, businessman and President of Rogers City School Board; Presque Isle County Sheriff Robert Paschke; retired PI Co. Sheriff Terry D.
