Children's Haiku to WHF 2008


To wish all well for the World Haiku Festival 2008 here are some poems from
children at Roundhill School in Charnwood UK. They are their first haiku and
come from a walk in the school grounds.

a plane travelling
to a foreign country
my cold ears

the coldness of winter
in the air

It seems all haiku poems are by the beginners- quite some good poems here- but there may be something else - a mystery in poetry from the matured poets- good...
