Welcome to Wooly Buddies! If you enjoy hand-stitching and working with wool or woolfelt® then you will enjoy participating here. Topics for discussion will cover washing and dyeing the wool or woolfelt®, threads and stitches to use when embellishing your work. We’ll discuss penny rugs, wool coverlets, wool quilts (both pieced and crazy quilted), pillows, etc. anything that can be made from wool or woolfelt®. All skill levels are welcome.
The patterns provided to the group are for your personal use and are not to be distributed without my written permission. Currently there are several patterns that are posted in the files section. Please enjoy making any of the patterns that I post as gifts for yourself, for friends, etc. For permission to make items for sale at church, school, other fundraisers, please contact me. I am happy to share. Just ask. :-)
There are only a couple of rules in this group......one is that you may not post chain type e-mails to the group and a new one.......if you are just joining the group, you must introduce yourself within one week of joining and then post at least once every six months. For current members, you need to post to the group at least once a year. I do this to encourage all of you to participate.
