Women (and nice men) share information and techniques for better quality woodworking, furniture refinishing, carving, turning, or building large and small projects out of wood. We share referrals for plans, supplies, and problem solving information.
If you have something you want to share with like-minded wood workers, then this is the right place. If you want to flame, spam or share some political, religious, or other inflammatory subject, then this is not the place and you will be eliminated from the group.
If you have something to sell that is related directly to wood working then you may mention it on the group, but not often.
Constructive criticism will be encouraged. Just remember that not everyone here is a professional wood worker, and comment appropriately.

The two boxes shown here are the work of member Donna Menke. They are the Yin-Yang Boxes, and are made from figured maple and padauk. After the lid pieces are cut out one of the pieces is swapped for the other. Turn them upside down and you get contrasting lid colors. These are examples of band saw boxes that are made exclusively with the band saw and sanders.
