To become a member, the applicant must submit & post their Wood lineage from themselves, generation by generation, to their earliest proven Wood ancestor. Each generation should have dates, places, and spouse names. In addition, the applicant should supply their name, address, and phone number. 1. John Wood who died in Amherst Co VA in 1783 and had sons Paul, Silas, Francis Wood of Bedford County, VA, and Charles Wood of Roane County, TN
2. William Wood of Lunenburg Co VA and Granville Co NC, born early 1700s, who had sons William, John, Bennett, Penuel, Lazarus.
3. Robert Wood of Lunenburg Co VA and Granville Co NC, born 1720s, (apparent son to William Wood #2 above) who had sons Robert and Michael.
4. Martin Wood, born 1820 in Vermont (possible brother of Erastus Wood of Lyme CT).
5. Jesse Lee Wood, born 1839 Carroll Co MS.
6. Robert Wood of Floyd Co VA, born 1720s, whose descendants were in southwest VA and WVA
