Description

PLEASE NOTE: This group is formed for the sharing and exchange of Wood family history & genealogy for members and relatives of "Group 1" of the Wood Surname project (see Wood surname project at familytreedna.com for links & info.) To become a member, the applicant must submit & post their Wood lineage from themselves, generation by generation, to their earliest proven Wood ancestor. Each generation should have dates, places, and spouse names. In addition, the applicant should supply their name, address, and phone number. Any applicant not providing their lineage to earliest Wood ancestor and their contact info will NOT be accepted. Applicants who have Wood ancestry who do not connect with the families of Group 1 of the surname project will not be accepted, as this is not for research of the Wood genealogy in general.
