Welcome to our Women's Chavurah!

The Women's Chavurah is a community of women at Congregation Sha'ar Zahav in San Francisco, CA who come together to celebrate Jewish events, see movies, have discussions, enjoy potlucks, sing, and a host of other types of gatherings.

We are open to all people who identify as women, live in the Bay Area, and identify as being part of the Jewish community.

We are welcoming to all those who identify as queer, heterosexual, bisexual, transgendered, lesbian et al and those in any type of dating relationship (single, coupled, in a triad, poly-oriented, monogamously-oriented, etc.). In addition, while many of us are members of Sha'ar Zahav, Congregation membership is not necessary to attend events or get involved in this group.
