Women in Black DC stands in solidarity with Palestinians in the Occupied Territories and Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel working for a just and viable peace. We join their demands: that Israel end its brutal occupation, that Israel end its human rights abuses of the Palestinians, and that Israel dismantle the Jewish settlements in occupied Palestinian Territories. We denounce the use of violence against against unarmed civilians on all sides. We commend the Israeli conscientious objectors who refuse to serve in an occupying army.

Women in Black DC is a part of the international Women in Black movement, which was founded in 1988 by Jewish and Palestinian Israeli women demanding an end to the occupation. We stand in solidarity with all our sisters around the world calling for peace through justice in their countries, nations, and communities.
